Band Names

Post by ArcWolf »

Hi guys.

I'm starting uni fall semester and I, acknowledging that this might be my last grasp at some freedom, have decided to start a band with some classmates.

We're having trouble with band names though. Catchy ones are hard to come by.

You're a clever bunch, so help a poster out?

There's cookies if you do!

Band names can be as serious or as silly as your heart desires, primarily because amusement is also a major goal of this thread.

Thank you in advanced.

What type of band?
There is always a mystical adventure awaiting you. You just have to find it and take the first step into epicness.

Well it's a couple of trombones, a guitar and a drummer so probably something along the jazzy side of things.

Or Ska.

I dunna. I'm bad with genres.

I approve of the fourth one.

Heck I'd settle for a full version of "no more yuppies."
Also it's nice to have someone to understand my portlandia references. You is good people.

How about "The False Dmitriys". Referring to three different pretenders to the throne of Russia who claimed to be Dmitriy.

The guy hasn't been in class for a couple of days.

I'm kind of glad this is spinning into more of a mind-game of coming up with band names.
