...Oh well, I guess there is no much point in guessing... After all, you would get to one.
I intended to refer to that one

Thank you, Veb.
Probably a good idea, yes. Maximum of two guesses per post?
This shouldn't be to difficult. What happened today, May 27th, relating to this... er... fellow?

On May 27th in 1933 Disney released the animated film Three Little Pigs showing The Wolf as villain who was honored by the song Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Because it's funny:
...35 translations later, Bing gives us:
"5/27/3, 5/27 the fear of wolves in 1933, mniejesze, there is no Monster music and Disney villains."

Okay, that's really a hard one. I'll try this:
On July 5th, 1865, the Locomotive Act 1865 (Red Flag Act) was issued in the United Kingdom, regulating among other things the speed of "mechanically propelled vehicles" at a maximum of 4 mph (6.4 km/h) in the country and 2 mph (3.2 km/h) in the city, as well as requiring a man carrying a red flag to walk in front of road vehicles hauling multiple wagons.
