Argo and the other short stories

Post by SmileWolf »

I am just catching up with the other work that Rick does, and yesterday I purchased his short story Argo and wound up staying up late reading it. I posted a review on Amazon, but I wanted to share here as well that I was really impressed by it. I grew up reading classic scifi stories by classic authors like Asimov and Heinlein and Silverberg and PK Dick. This anthology book was my favorite, it has stories most of us have heard of thanks to movie adaptations:

Argo evokes them, and stands alongside them in quality. The story is compelling and the characterizations are excellent. That is about the highest praise I can give it. I am looking forward to catching up to his other stories as well. Great job, Rick, keep them coming please. :)

Believe me, his other ebooks are not less beautiful -Rick can make the greatest job in turning a short story in an enthralling condensate of awesome!
TEN THOUSAND MILES UP is a great homage to Space Opera
BRAVO CHARLI is everything you could ask for in a short story with gangsters, drama, a lady in distress, friendship, motorbikes, humor, yummy hyena and cherry lollipops^^

I bought Agro once, but need to find it again, I think I bought it on a older phone and it didn't transfer over.

I really hope he releases something from his In the New Age stories. That fantasy universe has been around for years and it would be great to see something finally released outside deviant art (The site, I mean!).

Ouch!
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

I'm telling you, hyenas ARE canines too!

He's working on it. But I agree. I just don't want him to rush, since a universe like this needs to be just right to distinguish itself.

I asked Rick once and he says that eventually he will publish them in print form. I think I will wait for the book.

Hey peoples! If you're looking for some other stories I did make for-free some fairly tiny stories in my Storyboard series
