It's that time again, folks! Please e-mail your submissions to [email protected] and we'll post the ones that fit the tone of the comic. All submissions become the property of Rick Griffin Studios at time of entry. Thanks in advance!

I also had an idea, but back then, everyone was too busy studying for their exam.
I hope anyone accept my request to draw it this time. Let me know.

I would take you up on the offer if I could think of anything past a one panel idea. especially since I am not up to par on art myself.WhoElseButQuagmire wrote:I'm willing to offer my talents for anyone not as artistically inclined.

Re: Soliciting Guest Strips
Hey guys... I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO SUBMIT MY COMIC! By that I mean do I do the drawing on my computer, or do I draw it on a normal piece of paper and scan it into my computer or what. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS PROCES STEP BY STEP TO ME?!?!
I'm thinking of starting a Fan Fiction, should I do it? Send me a PM with some ideas and names of characters!

Re: Soliciting Guest Strips
I'm not sure what you like to have explained...
How to draw? That I can't explain to you - a) there are many techniques b) I don't draw myself. If you create your art with photoshop for example, save it and if you draw traditionally on paper, scan it...
How to send a file by email? I hope you know that.

Basically what he said.
Get the picture onto your computer any way that is most comfortable for you (whether that's drawing it straight on the computer, or scanning in a picture), and send it as an attachment in an email to the address up in the first post.
Pretty straightforward.

Ok......... I guess that's one way to explain something to a 13 year old. Thanks.Render wrote:I'm not sure what you like to have explained...

Re: Soliciting Guest Strips
Quick question: How late can we submit a comic? I'm working on one now, and I'm sure I can have it finished by tomorrow night if I try hard enough, but if I have an extra day to work, I'd appreciate not having to stress myself out =P

Re: Soliciting Guest Strips
Hey, sorry. I didn't wanted to be rude. It's just that I really didn't knew what you wanted to have explained (and still don't know). I expected that somebody who plans to draw a guest comic knows how to draw because a guest comic probably isn't the best thing to start with when drawing the first time because of the complexity.Miles the Wolf wrote:Ok......... So, all we know for Val is it's not the chicken and it's not Steve. (Pity as I have a great poem ready for his next appearance).
Any more speculation?

Apparently Dissension is getting questions about Guest Week, which he's not qualified to answer. Y'all should either direct all of them to Rick, or post them in this thread. Thanks!

poor Rufus! He helped Peanut toward winning his love for Grape! (OK, he was thinking about a cute border collie, but it's the same).
So, not obscure enough.
