Joy: I may be escaping my life of living with my mom and working at a restaurant and go get my master's degree for a year before medical school!

Sorrow: I'd have to move out of town for the first time in my life and leave all my friends here behind.

That's great news Sleet! Well, the the Joy part is. The Sorrow part kinda sucks, but you're going to have to do it at some point unless there is a medical school in your town and you get accepted there.

I know you'll do good though. And remember, in this day and age, you can still pretty much talk to your friends at any time, no matter where you are. Not the same as actually doing stuff together, but you'll make other friends too!

Joy: And so ends a nightmare. Finally presented a reverse engineering project that has been giving me trouble every time I tried to work with it. I had to restart modeling four times. When you have an assembly as complex as the one I had, having to restart once is a pain. So imagine four.
Sorrow: It was about 70% complete after a month and a half. Bad planning and other factors led to that.
Angry: A friend who I "helped" (and by that I mean I did a good bit of his presentation for him) has been missing all week. With a "sore throat." Nothing else. I get the feeling that he's really trying to worm his way out of the project, as he never leaves for this long over such a miniscule reason. Which means I have even less to show for my work. He actually has more done than I do.

When your entire class grade relies on the completion of a single group project, one must make sure that their group members actually do the work.

Anger: Mine didn't. In fact, they pretty much forced me to do their work for weeks. No more.

Devious: I told the teacher of our predicament, so now if two-thirds of the project is missing they'll be the only ones to blame, and I will still get full credit. C:<

Rage and frustration: Its that time of year again when the great state of North Carolina decides to save some money by making me take a full month, 31 whole days, off from work. I will be able to collect some minuscule amount of unemployment, though I would rather be working. Of all the people who only have to take two weeks off, only one knows how to do my job and none want to.

On top of that, the summer manager wants to mess with my hours. I usually work 5:30 am to 2:30 pm. I get there early enough to get all my vitally important work done before the students arrive and wreck the place. She says she needs me there at 7:00. That means I have to work my way around HORDES of people. That means that no actual cleaning will be achieved. Plus, it means that I would get off work at 4 pm. That gives me 30 minutes to walk home and another 30 minutes to show dress and get to class. She says that it is because I am the only housekeeper this summer. I was the only one last summer because I did all the work! The girl who "worked" with me got there an hour and a half after me so all the important stuff was done. On top of that, she lacked the upper body strength to take out the trash or run the floor machine!

I have class at 5:00 pm! She told me that I need to be flexible! Why is it that I have to be more flexible than everyone else?! Its not my fault that they won't hire more people! And I am most certainly not going to sacrifice my education for that place! Nursing School is my way out of that festering rats nest of a university!

Why won't the world just DIE!?

Even though I "broke" five months ago, I still find it hard to believe that anything I say is good enough to be taken with even a grain of salt, if not a pinch.

I feel like I know exactly how any given bystander would react to what I said.
Some people would call such an understanding of others a blessing.

It's not. It's terrible- the worst thing that has ever happened to me. It's destroyed my confidence on the Internet and made posting here (or anywhere else) a living nightmare. I feel hated by all of you, even though this is the most friendly community I've ever had the privelege to be a part of, hands down.

I want to be the guy who was everywhere again. I want to think that my jokes are still funny, even if they aren't. I want to say "I'm sorry" when something happens without thinking that it looks hollow or fake.

I just want to be my old, ignorant self again.

Sorrow: Bought a used copy of The Thing at a local store. It doesn't read on my x-box or ps2. So that was a waste

Joy: Bought a lot of other great movies. Got inspired to write a script, and my friend recorded a track so we can get cracking on his music video. Gonna be a fun summer.
