Hmm... Who benefits? Who gets her ear trumpet collection in her will? They're probably worth a lot.

With their renewed, inspired, vigor
and power of the masculine
they set out on the vicious hunt
taking Tarot, though she's feminine.

They hunt him high
they hunt him low
they search by and by
for our mystery so and so.

But in the ink blackness fell black
as the old lady blew her last trumpet
and was held to account for her maid,
who was never to be called a strumpet.

Eight furry indians, on the hunt down in Devon.
One stayed behind and then there were seven.

I cheated with 'Devon'. I don't know if 'And then there were none' is set there but the version I read is.

This seems to be going quickly, with a comic brevity to the story. I am liking who gets to play whom, it brings some amusing comparisons. I am sad that we may not get to see Sabrina with any greater number of ear horns though

What time is it? ...No, not Adventure Time, that was SO two minutes ago. It's mystery solving time— starting with the analysis of Dr. Armstrong's latest bad news and good news!

The bad news? General Sir John MacArthur is dead.
The good news? Hmm.... I'm going to guess and say he just saved a bunch of money on his car insurance by switching to Geico.
Oh, and he didn't do it.

Andnd PLEASE don't tell me the title is refrencing the show...

In the German version I read (that btw still had the old title :? ) it also was Devon. That seems to be right in some way. Are there other versions?

I only noticed it when you mentioned it.

Going into the archives (somehow, it didn't show up in the Imaginate-session) shows the purple as being the 'right' color, so it wasn't just bleed-through in the previous comic.
How you accidentally color something yellow is beyond me - but I'm sure there's a rational explanation. Maybe the wall-color somehow got down there?

The play is only set on the island, but is taking place in a house.
But then again, you can't search an entire house in 2 minutes...

They kinda have to abbreviate the search, too. I mean, if they actually searched the whole house, it would take far too long. x3

The song said "Devon" too, so I think it's a fairly safe bet that Indian Island is in Devon.

Ok, he's no David Tennant, but I can think of some HP characters that wouldn't be good for that role at all. (Karishad would be perfect though.)

That bucket tool can be a real pain sometimes. Also Rick might be trolling. As you said, this strip and the last one are the only two in which Marvin's tag shows up. All the other times in this arc, Marvin's tag is hidden; either by an arm or some inanimate object.
(Or maybe Marvin is the guilty one in the HP version and he had to change collars from all the ketchup he got on the other one.) I'm just guessing, so no spoiler tags needed, right?

Useless search, which brought the bad news where Sabrina's character died, look at the crossed number. No more ear horns, too. :| Marvin's character had to be a journalist instead of a doctor, with all these news he's giving. The good news should be again like the previous one.
Wow, Marvin got a customized gold medal in the meanwhile! :P It's just a little coloring forgetting, the background gets colored for first. ;)
