 Re: Translations
Not to add more work for you, but another thing came to mine. What about the alt-text? Could be another thing to translate later, once you're done with the re-lettering.
Oh yeah, and good job so far with the translation; not everyone can do it, and it's cool you take time to do it. I know I can only speak English...

 Re: Translations
I had thought of the alt-text, but I didn't see the necessity to translate it, unless Rick wishes me to do so... And anyway, I don't know hw to put an alt-text. I could write down the translated text next to the strip... Thanks for the compliments. I really enjoy doing this work

 Re: Translations
I figure if you do decide to do the alt text, you could do it like how you already add comments in after or before the comic sometime. Like say something like Alt text: italian alt text. I dunno. That's just my idea is all.

well, at least Bino's expectations are not so predictable... Lo spirito della competizioneO altrimenti potrà equivalere a: pane, una scatola di chiodi da coperture, un magazzino pieno di articoli da intimo, mezza scatola di fiammiferi, una copia della seconda edizione di Flatlands, un nuovo collare, amore, una scatola di piume, una fabbrica di cioccolato, o 'soddisfazione'

ferrets will be ferrets. Quell'audace, delizioso sapore che il denaro non può comprareCome potete vedere, l'ambiente è decorato con affreschi delicati e statue di bronzo su commissione che probabilmente richiederebbero all'artista ore per poterle rendere in dettagli adeguati se egli volesse riprodurre la stanza

let's face it: at least Bino's got guts Oh, yes. He also should have known better than asking for help to a dog who was ready once to knock him down with a brick! Qualcosa da qualche parte è andato stortoCome per i mattoncinii Lego(R) e il nastro Velcro(R), il plurale ufficiale per Blackberry è Blackberry(R) Smartphones, che nessuno mai pronuncia seriamente

 Re: Translations
Hey! you did a great job with this translation, even the fonts and sizes look pretty good. So, I'm actually beginning to translate all of this comic to Spanish, and I was wondering if you could give me some tips on how to edit the letters in, so I can start with the translation looking good from the beginning, please.

 Re: Italian Translation
1) 'Isidoro' is the italian translation of 'Heathcliff'. A great comic of my boyhood 2) Of course you feel weird about this, Grape: you should be having a date with Peanut (this message was brought to you by the Peanut+Grape committee. Thank you for reading!) 'Da Isidoro' è una succursale del roadkill cafeServire lo 'Speciale del Mercoledì' di Lunedì è esattamente quello che pensi

Are you fluent in English, or do you translate it into Italian to read it?

 Re: Italian Translation
I think I'm fluent enough, at least to watch TV shows, read and translate this stuff ( though I do need Rick's help from time to time). At the telephone, I'm a disaster. In person, I need not less than two days to get a grip on spoken language, while my interlocutors must talk slooooowly so I can understand them

 Re: Italian Translation
the literal pun couldn't be applied. The current solution is elegant enough: actually, that particular breed is called 'volpino di pomerania', thus making this solution effective in its own right.
