Oops would you look at that someone found the cure and it spreads through air and lives off of oxygen and someone smashed a jar and it's everywhere oh no the apocalypse is over.

granted, there is an annual rase of all the dogs, it takes place on a horse-racing track, and they blame and hate you forsaking them race and making them smarter when they enjoyed their lives before.
