Oh man, I had to write one of these for my Expository Writing class! I still have it! Here, have a copy & paste thing!

Ten Things I Want to Do In My Lifetime

1. Visit my pen pal, Aaron [last name edited here], who lives in [edit], England.
Aaron and I have been friends for three years, and through all the Skype chats we have had, I’ve learned so much about the British culture and I have made a great friend. Living in America, I have often spent Saturdays wondering, “If Aaron lived here, I could take him to this great CD store in [that one town] and we could go to that new move later.” It is hard having a close friend live 3,000 miles away. I really want to meet him in person, without the barrier of an ocean and a webcam.

2. Have a photography session during the months of Midnight Sun in Nordic countries.
I love photography, and having a friends who were born in Sweden, I have always wanted to visit the Nordic countries. The Midnight Sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs during the summer there (so it wouldn’t be too cold, and I hate the cold), and a quick Google search will show the amazing photography shots available during that time.

3. Go to Cleveland, Ohio, to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center, Lake Erie, and my friend Geoff.
Music is my passion, and natural science fascinates me. I want to visit a Great Lake for the new experience, and I have not seen my friend Geoff since middle school.

4. Visit Japan in April.
I want to visit a culture that is completely different than mine, and the Japanese culture is a good match for what I am seeking. Cherry blossoms are one of my favorite plants, so visiting in April will give me the opportunity to attend the Cherry Blossom festival. I also love Japanese art, so buying some authentic Japanese works would be fantastic for me.

5. Take a trip to California.
All my life, my dad has talked about how great California is (he used to live there). I want to see a West Coast sunset and see if California is as great as he makes it out to be.

6. Go on a road trip to Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana (specifically new Orleans), and Texas.
I have never been to these states before. I have so many friends in this broad area, and also reading the book Huckleberry Fin has always made me curious to see how Midwestern life is along the Mississippi River. I want to have a personal photography session along the coast of the Mississippi River; viewing images from photography websites has shown me the complexity and detail of this landscape.

7. Get a college degree.
Education has always been very important in my family, but I am the first family member to have the opportunity to attend college. Not only do I want the personal satisfaction of obtaining a higher education to have a better life, but I want to see the joy in my parents’ eyes as I walk across the stage to receive my college degree; they have spent the last eighteen years of their lives wanting better for their daughter, and I want to make them proud.

8. Marry my best friend.
I don’t mean my best friend right at this moment, but I hope I am lucky enough to spend the rest of my life with someone who loves me for everything I am and will support me in everything I do. I hope that when I am sixty years old, I am with someone whose love for me grows more and more with each passing day. That level of companionship is one of the strongest bonds I have ever seen and I hope I will be blessed enough to experience it myself.

9. Become a positive YouTube role model and have 15 minutes of fame.
I don’t want to be in the spotlight for my entire life, but I am fascinated with how revolutions in technology have allowed people from all over the earth to have a voice and change the world. I admire the people on YouTube who use this power to reach audiences to create and inspire positive social changes. These people won’t be world-renowned like Mother Teresa or Mahatma Gandhi, but they supply that quick energy to get the masses inspired for change.

10. Build my own computer.
I love technology, and I’ve always wanted the satisfaction of being able to build my own computer to the exact specifications for how I want it. Hopefully, with the completion of item seven on this list (I wish to major in computer engineering), I have the knowledge to do that.

So basically I want to do a crap-ton of travelling and spending time with people. Writing this list made me feel like Ellie from the movie Up.
Let me tell you about Homestuck.

7.*hugs* everyone knows that you are gonna make it

1. I'm actually referring to the forumite, 44R0NM10. I refer to him as my pen pal simply because I don't want to start the conversation of, "Hey guys I met him on the Internet." My parents think we did a pen pal program through our English classes. ;) I'm actually meeting him this summer when he and his family go on vacation just a few states away from me. :D

6. Again, I was also referring to the forumites as well. X3 I've had a friend from GaiaOnline the past four years who lives in Chicago, and I also want to meet Sleet, Diss, and Tha Housefox. I am considering moving to the Midwest when I am older. While I never want to leave the south, I want to be in a more diverse area, a big city. I would never move back up northeast, though. I hate the cold and that chapter of my life is over. The Midwest has much of the southern culture but also a better urban environment. But home is where the heart is, and if I met "the right guy," I may never want to leave North Carolina. I certainly do love it here, but the Midwest is another option of mine indeed.

8. I mean, I don't know! :P Independence is important to me, and I don't feel like I could fully enter a marriage until I have my own business sorted out. I want to graduate college and have a "grown up" job first. I do not want to depend on someone monetarily and I know that I won't be happy with myself unless I have a career of my own. I will be unsatisfied socially (okay, let's be honest. I'm a people person and very extroverted. I'm only happy I'm very busy- I have a restless, high-energy spirit) and economically, and that will negatively impact me and the person I am committed too. And what if I make a mistake and marry the wrong person in the beginning? My career can't suddenly wake up one day and say, "I don't love you anymore." So... Can that be my answer? :P

Take my word for it. Stay away from SoCal. Personally, I dislike the majority of this state simply due to the insane politics. And I want out asap.

Otherwise have fun. At most we've got pretty girls, awesome food, and sunny weather.

(Also, no lie. If you've got money and excellent timing, you can in fact both snowboard and surf in the same day.)

I love California, all of it. They have some great state, national, and historic parks.

My list...
- Come up with a bucket list
- Learn guitar. (I think I'll try it out this summer)
- Visit another country. (Not sure where, just somewhere different and not a part of North America. So, no Canada or Mexico.)
- Start a band with friends again. (It was fun but didn't last very long)
- Go to a music festival. (Coachella would be great, every year it's too expensive. Or Sasquatch! I keep missing it 'cause friends can't go)
- Visit Austin, TX. Nashville and Memphis, TN.
- Surf
- Build a motorcycle and take the same trip they did in the movie Easy Rider. With out the horrible death

I really don't have much of one. I guess going to Japan, maybe going to the UK. I plan to have a long time to do things, so I don't have a real list.

I have quite a long bucket list I've made for myself a while ago offa the idea from the trailer of "An Idiot Abroad" where one of the guys say "it's not things you do a few minutes before you die, it's things you do in your life before you do die."

This list is probably gonna look pretty random in places.

- See a wild country fox family in real life.
-- Take a clear photo or camcorder-film said fox family.
-- Hold a real life fox cub.

- See a wild Arctic Fox in real life. (Full white winter coat only)
-- Take a clear photo or camcorder-film said Arctic fox.

- See a wild wolf pack in real life.
-- Take Clear photo or camcorder-film said wolf pack
-- Hear a real life wolf howl.

- Learn how to drive/ride a motorbike.
- Learn how to drive/ride a quad bike.

- Have a go at driving a real life Steam locomotive.

- Learn how to pilot a helicopter.

- Wreck up a vehicle in real life (Without using explosioves or a crusher, or by deliberately crashing it...blunt force with bats and golf clubs and things only)

- Go racing in a sports car on a race track in real life.

- Acquire a decent-sized campervan. (with automatic gearing)

- Visit the USA.
-- Drive a car or ride a motorbike all the way down Route 66. (Super awesomeness bonus; make vehicle of choice a proper Harley Davidson hog)

- Fire off a sub-machine gun or assault gun in real life. (On a gun range obviously. Any rapid fire gun will do, but I'm especially interested in a proper "Tommy" gun and/or a pair of UZIs.)

- Dual-weild a couple of real katanas and practice some sword skills with them. (Carefully, of course)

- Learn how to become a falconer.

- See a wild Perigrine Falcon in real life.
-- Take a clear photo or camcorder-film said falcon.

- See a wild Merlin in real life
-- Take a clear photo or camcorder-film said Merlin.

- See a wild Red Kite in real life
-- Take a clear photo or camcorder-film said Red Kite.

- Get a clear view of a wild Kingfisher in real life. (I have seen one holding still once, but it was somewhat obscured by some branches)
-- Take clear photo or camcorder-film.

- See a wild Barn Owl in real life.
-- Clear Photo or camcorder-film.

- See wild Red Squirrels IRL.
-- Photo/Film

- Have a go at Hang-gliding.

- Ride on a proper grown-up rollercoater. (I've been on smaller and/or more sedate rollercoasters before but I should really do a proper one.)

- Have a go on bumper cars/dodgems.

- Go Paintballing.

- Have a go at Archery.
-- Fire a Cross-bow.

- Mush a Husky-pulled sled.

- See the Aurora Borealis. (Northern Lights)

- Have a go on a real life set of drums.

- Learn Horse riding.

- Go Swimming in;
-- A Natural River
-- A Natural Lake
-- The Sea
- Take a dip in a hot spring.
- Go skinny-dipping in any natural body of water. (probably the hot spring...the others will be a bit cold)

- Visit/Holiday anywhere in Scotland.
-ACHIEVED ALREADY-
Specifically Visited; Inverness, Loch Ness, Isle Of Skye.
New Designation; Visit anywhere In Scotland other than what I've already visited.
Specifically; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fort William, Isle Of Mull. To start off with.

- Visit/Holiday anywhere in Ireland.

- Visit Lands End.
- Visit John 'o' Groats.

- Climb Mount Snowdon under my own steam. (Not using the mountain railway like I did the first time I went up it.)

- Visit/Holiday in the Isle Of Man.

- Visit/Holiday in the Isle Of Wight.

- Check out Minature Wonderland in Germany.

- Own my own intricate Model Railway layout complete with scenery and towns and roads and everything. (OO/HO scale only)

- Have a go at driving a Minature Railway train.

- Learn Kung-Fu

- Visit/Holiday in Spain.
-- Locate a nude beach. (>:3)

- Attend a party. I mean, a proper, wild party...with blackjack...and hookers...in fact, forget the party. LOL.

- Kiss a girl on the lips. (Yes, I'm a friggin' KISS virgin!! And I'm 25!! How sad is that?!?)

- Get a girlfriend. (Obviously never actually had one officially.)
-- Get to have sex. (I wanna judge for myself how awesome or not awesome it is first-hand)
-- Sire two sons to carry on my family name.

Yeah, all of those above are things I'm totally gonna REGRET not doing if I die without doing them.
Below is a list of things I'd LIKE to do but can live without doing if it comes to that.

- Go Sky diving.
- Go Sky surfing.

- Have a hot air balloon ride.

- Visit Stonehenge.

- Go to a spa and have a massage and everything to bust some stress.

And before anybody asks "Why haven't you got 'Visit London' in there?" I have already been to London. TWICE. Both times encountering some frustration with some London Underground engineering works.
