Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Yes, actually! But, you have to aim and click at every letter you would normally type in with a keyboard in the span of a millisecond, so it's a bit of a waste if you have a computer that works. Either way... Short legs aren't good for making a hasty retreat. He'll probably be fine, but I'd still hate to be King when those five seconds are up. xD

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
I think Grape was bluffing--she was basically saying "Tarot's my best friend's girlfriend, so if you know what's good for you you won't hit on her or say anything nasty about her."
The worst thing I've seen Grape do is knock Bino out with a frying pan, and he was asking for that. Grape doesn't strike me as unreasonable. She has made weird threats like "right after I stab you in the face" but there's no indication that she would ever actually DO such a thing.

Those were mice. Grape is a cat. Besides, the mice were being WAY unreasonable, and they weren't pets. Extenuating circumstances.

Yes. In fact, most modern consoles that have any sort of network access(wifi, ethernet) come with a web browser(PSP, wii, PS*? not sure, DS*? not sure about that one either)

That wouldn't really be a good idea. Grape probably has a frying pan somewhere.

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
The frying pan was a deus ex machina for the Fido's Return arc. They brought it to lick bacon grease off of during the party.

Yes, and why wouldn't they have a frying pan at this party for the same purpose?

Who knows? But I would guess they have a uhm... Baseball bat instead! Because they shoot the ball, and take turns fetching it, maybe? no?:<

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
I'm sorry, you can't call an incidental object a deus ex machina. Grape could have grabbed anything heavy to clobber Bino, and the frying pan itself did not resolve any lingering plot issues like, say, Tarot.

Having a keyboard makes typing easier But no, I dont have a computer to use, So I can't copy and paste, find the url of the site I'm on, or load certain videos or flash (vimeo, for example). Plus being able to browse the web in my room makes it much more likely for me to fall asleep before the next update drops XD To answer ReCreate, the DSi has browser capabilities. I'm sure Grape isn't going to do anything to King, it was just a threat

Uh,Rick did you just admit that Tarot is nothing more then a deus ex machina? Because that's how I'm taking what you just said.

Technically she was, but given that the comic keeps going I used that to set up later plots *giggles*

Oh, Rick...you and your deus ex machinas lol. Tarot is actually one of favorite characters, right behing King, Sasha, and Fox.

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
I find it fascinating when writers first introduce a character just to further the plot and have no intention on continuing with said character, but then something happens and the writer decides to keep said character a bit longer. I'm glad Tarot stayed then. Good idea on your part, Rick.
I love how a similar approach was taken with Ben on LOST. He was supposed to be killed off a few episodes after he was introduced!

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Well this sucks for King. I'm curious as to what exactly a guy like Pete needs to do that caused him to leave King at home. Or if he had a reason, other than being a jerk, to leave King there rather than let him go to the party while he was away. Whatever the reason, it's good to see him in his true form. As much as I like Chrono Trigger, I like this form much better. Also, try this, guys. It's the wrong species, but it's closer than Liliana is.

Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipe.... Pete looks REALLY scary there--I wasn't able to laugh at all.... Wonder what'll happen--WILL he and Tarot finally encounter each other? Also, YAY! King was able to talk to Fido, the guy who arrested him! He's improving!

Sounds like? How is that the case? Also, is King behind that tree in the third panel? I thought he was in front but it's covering the tip of his ear....
