It's been awhile!
Can I have a quick run about what's happened so far?

Most of the pets - including a Mouse called Chip, who's befriended Elliot and Faust - are playing in the park.

ack! I can't sit still long enough to read the 7 pages I have left!
So, Hutch went with everyone, everyone is at the park. What has happened at the park while I was gone?

Not an awful lot has happend. Richard got food poisoning so all the pets left the shop bar Radar who stayed with Piper to help. Blick has gone to the vets for a checkup and Mercury has gone to the park where he's met up with the rest of the pets who are searching for Elliot and Faust there, oblivious to the fact that Senka is also playing and that she's also a pet. Nadia, Doc, Koa and Kousa are all still at the vets. Kandi is driving back from the labs. Moonbeam and Rocky are still in their paddock. We assumed that Hutch left and went to the park with the rest of the pets so in the park are: Faust, Elliot, Flynn, Stryder, Rusty, Mercury, Leslie, Hutch, Senka, and a new character, Chip the Mouse. Bear went home and Aron is still at home with Vera. I think that's everyone.

At the park, Faust and Elliot are creating confusion by playing their strings and running away. Senka is hiding in the bushes but she's been found by Stryder and Leslie. Faust hasn't been found yet. Flynn found Elliot and in trying to sneak up on him, tripped over a string and went head over heels straight into him. Rusty is still looking for the jackals and Stryder just jumped on Mercury by mistake, thinking he was a jackal.

Here's the character sheet for the cat the Van Gorges will be watching for a couple days. I don't know if this is going to be a full-on guest character, or if he's just going to be striked after he goes home.

Age- 71 in cat years, 20 in human
Neighborhood- Richmond Acres

Appearance- A raggedy looking brown tabby with a slight silver tint to his fur. He has several scars and cuts from being outside so much.
Personality- Gem's a grumpy old timer that doesn't like anybody touching his stuff, or him for that matter. He has a hard time making friends because he doesn't find company enjoyable, and this makes him very much a loner. Gem loves to make scale models, play board games, play card games, garden, and camping out in the forest. Because he doesn't like being around others, he stays outside most of the time; sometimes for days at a time.
Background- Gem was given to Tom, his 'real' owner, as a kitten when Paulo turned 5. Growing up with a human distanced Gem from other pets, making it hard for him to soicalize with anyone other than a human, and it didn't help that he grew up in the mountains. Gem and Tom did everything together, Gem even followed Tom to school on several occasions. As a teen, Gem became somewhat cynical but no nearly as much as he is now. When Tom moved off to college and Gem couldn't go with him, Gem was devastated; that's when his grumpiness escalated. Tom left him in the care of his parents (Jeff and Marsha Wilton), who absolutely adored Gem. Gem couldn't wait until Tom graduated and picked him up, but that day never came. After college Tom married his long time girlfriend, got a new kitten, and gave Gem to his parents. Soon after Tom's marriage, the Wilton parents retired and moved to a town just outside Richmond Acres. When the economy fell, Jeff went back to work as an advertising consultant at the same office as Sabrina Van Gorge.

For those who don't know, thumping or stamping is an instinctive reaction for rabbits whereby they thump their powerful hind legs on the groud making an audible sound which alerts other rabbits in the area of danger and to go to ground (i.e. find somewhere to hide). That's what Flynn's just done thanks to his nerves. He may not even realise he's done it.

That, I do know. I used to have a lot of rabbits.
