'cause Joey is nothing like my little brother who is also named Joey suprisingly o.o
and i want my joey to be more like housepet's joey.
and Bino's my second because he's insane and think people are out to get him... paranoia thats the word
i think i have a slight case of that, so its something to relate too.
You want your brother to wear catskins and move in with a mouse?
...
Man, I want my brother to be like Joey too now.
I'm... pretty sure if I was looking at some anthro art... and one of my brothers walked over to say how nice it was.. adding.. 'I WANT TO WEAR HER SKIN' that my response would be similar to Peanuts
".... WTF?"
I mean really, I'm only 25% furry at most. The hard-core 'Joey' stuff is quite on the creepy side for me. Not that I've any against those who think differently in that area.
Hahaha... so.. yeah.. I think I like my brothers as they are.

Hurhurhur.
I agree, though, seriously.
But my brother would still be a better person as someone like that.
He's no fun as he is. |B
Honestly, Grape is my favourite, since she's smart, and isn't afraid to express herself. She also seems to have a fun side, just like me. Viva la Grape!

I second Merk's first comment, except the "They can all burn" comment lol I like Fido because he seems to be the laid back type of leader (wants to be like him D:)then I want a friend who's just like Grape o3o lol
I am definitely a dog type. I'd list all dogs on this strip, but having to choose, I'd say I go for Peanut, followed by Fido, crazy Bino, smexy Kevin & Ralph
Maxwell is my favourite. This mostly happened after seeing him talk to Bino with that grin on his face. made me realize what kind of cat he was. but the part that made me set my mind on him was his confusion with Grape. i never laughed so hard.
But on a deeper note, i mostly started to grow fonder when i noticed a little of his backstory too. compared to the more average-with-life Grape and Peanut, Maxwell lives with Bino, and both of them are known for being annoying from what the records show. I also like to compare Maxwell and Bino with Grape and Peanut. pretty much every family owns a dog/cat pet relation in the HP world, but Maxwell and Bino i noticed (though only once) reflect similarities with Peanut and Grape.
Which makes me also support the Maxwell/Grape pairing for that reason. They are both nice and intelligent, and share common traits with one another and it's rare to see such a good pair of cats like this these days. I know there's alot of Peanut/Grape loers out there too, but how rare do you also find a good pair of cats like Maxwell and Grape? <3
A fave character, eh? If I had to pick, I'd say Tarot. I just have a weird obsession for the...weird. Meh, not the best, but it's my pick. And...wait, I just realized how weird the whole of Housepets! is. Okay, so Tarot is weirder than that. That's why she's my fave.

My favourite character for a long time was Peanut, and briefly Tiger, but now I've gotta say King and Fox are probably my favourites. It's certainly got to a point where I'd see King... uhh... "going back" to avoid typing out a spoiler as an unhappy ending XD
Fox is cool, and nice. King is just very very interesting, and I'm a bit mushy when it comes to the whole character redemption thing. Plus my name is Joel, so I figure that's gotta count for something!
I love a lot of the characters (not all), but I think my absolute favorites are King and Fox, although I also like Grape a lot.
I just fell in love with King when I read the "It's a Wonderful Dog's Life" arc--not only because I found it interesting (I've always wanted to be a dog myself) but because I thought Joel/King had a complex and interesting personality, and it was neat seeing how he reacted to his predicament. It wasn't cliched like you usually find--in fact, he lampshaded that right from the start.
Before I read that arc, though, I felt that Grape was my favorite--I fell in love with her when I read the "The Game" arc, because I could totally identify with her frustration therein. I'm the exact same way, and not just with "The Game," but with a lot of other things.... Plus I thought it was funny that no one knew she was a girl just at first....
As for Fox, I think of him as being the character most like myself--or perhaps he's my "light" side and Grape is my "dark" side, something like that, anyway.... He's smart, and he wants to be friends with people but sometimes he can be led around too much by the likes of Bino, even while disagreeing personally with what he's doing. There's a lot of me in that--I even now imagine him talking with my voice.
Anyway, those are my favorites, but I have a soft spot for Joey as well--uniquely among the "comedy relief" characters he actually has a developed personality and I kind of find it sad that, more often than not, he's not the "straight man" in ANY of the story arcs. Most involve him role-playing in some way, either table-top or costumed, which is fine, but it makes him the butt of the joke all the time....
As you should know, Peanut is my absolute favorite. Grape comes in a close second, with a definite King as third. These, I guess, are the cutest characters in my opinion, and because I tend to be a lover of cute things, I love them!!!
King would definitely be my favorite, as anyone who's read my posts on the speculations board would guess. I could go on about why, but I think I've already covered that there. He's just plain interesting.
Other than him, I'd have to say Maxwell would be my other favorite. I do enjoy his snarkiness, wit, and sometimes dry humor. The current arc is really bringing out the best in his character.
