ummmm ok I'm not exactly sure what to say to this one here. Other then We're Snowed In! (the first time Peanut meets Dragon) and a one off where she takes control of Tarot for a panel or two we have never seen them hang out at all; so this kind of has no impact IMO. If we had seen them doing stuff together and seen Peanut get romantic with Dragon it might have had more.

Also how did he not figure out they were separate people after Dragon took control of Tarots body, and Tarot told her off? Did he just think she was crazy?

I'm sure Peanut isn't aware how the green eye thing works. He just assumed back then that Tarot was talking to herself. Which was the reason he was sliding away from her =3

And let's not forget, Peanut and Max (As we're starting to see now) aren't exactly the most genre savvy people in their respective genres.

It's at this point I think I realize that Max and Peanut are going to have a lot of situations in the future like this. Max for pretty much the entire universe... Peanut for not getting away with being a good boy.

Its not like this really matters since Tarot clearly doesn't care. She never bothered to stop it any of the times it happened (or even inform him they were not the same person until this point.) (though the one off where she tells Dragon off kind of confuses me now) So the question here is what does she actually want to talk about?

Yeah so now it makes less sense that he didn't know; and even if you take in to account that maybe he didn't remember that part of the dream for some unexplained reason that just means that I'm right, Tarot didn't care that they were being romantic with each other; since she never told him that they were separate people (something that, even if it was a "dream" Dragon already told him).

I think maybe there wasn't actually any moment where Peanut and Dragon got romantic, Peanut just doesn't know how to tell the difference between the two since he just thought they were the same. As far as I can tell, Tarot actually does take Dragon's form sometimes (like in Dog Days of Summer) and so Peanut saw Dragon turning back into Tarot and assumed they were the same, but now he thinks Dragon may have turned into a different pomeranian and claimed to be Tarot. a misunderstanding.

I am still a bit unclear on how he still thought they were the same, but I can write that off as him being unobservant or forgetful

So your saying that Peanut thought that Dragon turned into Tarots twin or something to that effect? Ok, I guess that could work except that Tarots line about it being true but not technically true doesn't make sense now.

she said not technically.
maybe occasionally Tarot had to handle some psychic business and didn't want to disappoint Peanut on date nights, so she let Dragon take over for a little while until she could take control again, she;s fine with it, it's not technically cheating because it's her idea and she knows about it, but by Peanut's definition he was cheating on her

Ok that kind of works, but its a bit silly since anything Tarot could do Dragon could easily do a well thereby avoiding the whole situation.

How would they know? Your talking about beings that could create a universe on a whim to play in. I'm pretty sure that Dragon could fake being Tarot for a few hours easily. Oh, and before you bring it up I highly doubt given everything Dragon and the others have done so far she would object to doing something like that, especially to help Tarot.

maybe Tarot suggested this without thinking of the other option, and Dragon didn;t feel the need to suggest the other option

Edit: another possible explanation is maybe what Peanut saw as a date, Tarot just saw as hanging out and so she was fine having dragon take over while she handled other things as much as she'd be fine with him hanging out with Grape. so in Peanut's mind and by his definition, he cheated, but Tarot doesn't see it that way.

Perhaps not but given how Tarot reacted in that one off I don't think she would put up for it that long. I really don't think that Tarot gets another body when Dragon takes over (as in the one off or when she transformed) so that's not possible.

Ok, I think I'm done here, this revelation is just really silly and brings up far too many questions.

Personally, I wonder if Peanut's brain is comparable to the processing capabilities of a Pentium 1. (I would say an Apple II E, but I don't want to insult him.) Point being that he is capable of processing advanced knowledge, but it takes a looooooooooong time to understand it. In "Inappropriate Title" I think Peanut was just confused and clueless as to what was happening, and he never took the time to start processing it again.

Yeah, it's strange. I thought Grape's soul was going to be the one that got shattered on this trip. So far, only the guys have taken the beatings. (And in Max's case, taken the bootings.)
