Everytime i see one of Sinder's crazy, but really well written theories, i remind myself that Max and Peanut are like two sides of the coin: One is Magic, the other is Might.

Thus, my defense? Max sticks to his guns <3

Also... The cage... *hides*

Wait, quick thought: is this a time skip, or is Pete just planning on keeping King in that cage until the day of the barbecue?

This is supposed to be a King arc, and July 4th isn't for another couple of weeks; therefore, it is more likely that he will turn into the Incredible Hulk and bust out.

Well, King may have learned how to pick locks while he was Joel. After all, he apparently had a criminal record.

Also, we get a lot of info about Pete's powers.

You'll notice that this pet cage was specifically designed for a world where pets have thumbs; it has a key lock, not just a contraption that is impossible to work from the inside with paws.

I wonder if Rick specifically intended it that way.

You know what King said makes Pete a lot weaker then I think most people thought (my self included) I wonder what other limits he has on his Powers?

Edit: I bet King kicks the door down or something like that to escape.

A) We don't know if King is correct regarding Pete's powers or not; he admits himself that he doesn't have everything figured out.
B) We know that he's wrong about certain things; Pete has already rendered him unable to speak his real name, which is a pretty clear violation of free will

Come to think of it, I wonder too. If Pete was really that powerful, he can and would had control King's mind completely.

Can, yes. Would, not necessarily. To put it simply, how on Earth would King learn his lesson (whatever it may be), if his mind is just being controlled?

Well then why would he come to that conclusion? Is he that stupid or something?

Edit: previous point was stupid.

Wow, King's really trying to work out what Pete's all about, isn't he? At least he isn't just wallowing in self-pity (when he's not chumming it up with Fox).

I would be proud of King for finally standing up to someone if not for the fact that it ended this way.... Maybe that's part of the reason he usually doesn't/didn't...?

The last panel makes me sad....

And yes, King apparently can't say his real name "Joel" anymore, so he's not entirely right about that....

What ARE Pete's plans, anyway?

Did you see that thing in Bruce Almighty where Bruce made Evan say a bunch of stupid stuff on the air? He wasn't allowed to violate free will, but that doesn't mean he can't make them do things in more drastic ways than I could similarly take someone's arm and move it for them.

"Why are you hitting yourself" doesn't call free will into question, now, does it!

On another note. I think King will get rescued by someone *coughcoughFoxcoughcough*.

King needs a little lesson on "tact."

Not even a little bit. That would make it not funny at all. The image is bad enough on its own, it needs some levity to lighten it up.

EDIT: As regards "crap," this is off-topic but I used to think that was a swear word but lately it's seeming like it either never was and I was mistaken, or it's ceasing to be one (is that even POSSIBLE? )....

I thought about that, but I might keep overthinking this because I'm afraid that if there is ANY sort of ambiguity in meaning that people are going to come to vastly different conclusions about a comic

So yeah I might have stepped on the punchline there. How about I scrub it down.

You probably don't want to hear this....

...but I liked it better before....

(And that's not coming from the standpoint of one who has to record King's lines for the Radio Show....)

No . . . I know I was too wordy there; having that much text makes the reader linger over the last panel for too long when it's supposed to be a quick punch thing

Oh, okay, I see--yeah, that relates to what I said earlier about the image itself making me sad. Without a quick punch to prevent you from lingering there, it isn't as funny....

You're right. :) Mea culpa.

And thus, we will get a series of comics till the 4th of July wear King sits in a dog cage talking to himself .

I'm curious what type of Macgyver action King will do to get out.
Probably build a C4 Explosive with a paper clip, chewing gum, and 2 pairs of nickles.
