you would think so , but no , some take summer vacation early and start early , others just outright cut it short (I have like 2 weeks and it's 3 days passed already )

Don't worry, Mickey, the "importantness" of a joy or a sorrow is too "relative" term to even care about it.

Joy - my results did not get annuled. That means I will not have to re-write all of the exams all over again!!!

Sorrow - The scores that are published so far are lower than I expected and much lower than the average everyone's getting (not surprising with last events). Goal of enrolling to the university I like slowly transforms into just getting anywhere to study through the first year.

Joy:The 4th falls on a Thursday, so I can use a vacation day and take that Friday and i'll have four days in a row off.

Sorrow: First day of school was... underwhelming. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Sorrow: I'm not feeling so good today. My head feels light and I'm getting dizzy. Lying down isn't helping much either...

You're lucky, it took me 2 days of constant searching and nagging to search for one song in a similar circumstance.

Major sorrow: I just found out that Touhou 14 can only be played on Windows 7 and above. Me and my 6-years-old Windows XP laptop.... T_T

FIVE. PROJECTS. ARE DUE. ON FRIDAY. ALL AT ONCE.

And to make it worse, my parents are STILL not letting up on the last few pieces of late work. So I have to deal with THAT too.

Also: One of my friends has been making increasingly obscene jokes (usually involving actions that go WELL over the PG-13 barrier, and performing those actions on us). I wouldn't mind the jokes too much if he didn't use them EVERY TWENTY SECONDS or so. It really irks me because it's not funny and he probably knows it. Every time I tell him to stop he just ignores me. When I try to get his attention in other ways he usually pinches the spot between my thumb and forefinger or performs some other hand-related torture.
I'm actually considering dropping him as a friend. There's no way I'm going to be able to put up with this for much longer before it gets REALLY physical and one of us ends up hurt.

Joy: I picked up my paperwork to enroll at the community college. I am going to fill out the paperwork to night and hand it in on Monday when I go set up an appointment with an adviser. Registration ends 1 August for Fall. With all my general education stuff out of the way I might be able to complete a two year degree in less time than that to become a CNA.

Because I HAVE to get out of the festering rat's nest of a place I am in now!

That's easy to fix, simply picture you punching your worst enemy in the face over and over, eventually you will fall asleep.

Kind of freaked out: Me and 4 other were witness to a crime yesterday. I was at the comic book shop and some lunatic plowed his car into the Verizon store next door. He smashed the whole front of the store, pulled out and yelled death threats at us as drove away. The cops and fire department showed up and my name got printed in the newspaper. The best part is that they have yet to catch this guy.

Sorrow: It's only been a week now. And I'm already being bombarded with homework, projects and requirements. I may be exaggerating a little bit but I still feel overwhelmed by all this.

A little Joy: It's been raining hard this week. Hopefully, classes get cancelled tomorrow.
