Okay guys! I've been really itching for a D&D campaign. I also need more experience dm'ing. I invite anybody here to join my campaign. You don't need any prior skill playing D&D, but it would be preferred if you did.

~Setting~

World Map:
Image

The Northern continent is Kallyria. It's all under the control of the Empire of Ethriel, and ruled by His Heighness, the Emperor Ethriel the Just. It's capitol is Tolus, and some of the larger cities are Endomir, Volstraig, and Ellysia. It's inhabited chiefly by Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings; half-breeds are becoming more and more common. They know of other lands across the seas, and have some contact with them; mainly trade. Nemarians are often seen in Kallyria.

The Southern continent is Nemaria. It's largely wilds, with villages and small towns scattered. There are more non-humanoids there than there are humanoids. Gnolls, Orcs and Drow are the most powerful races. The Gnoll capitol is Kannin. The Orc capitol is Throk go'lan. The Drow capitol is Zaphryl. Kallyrians have begun to expand their empire into Nemaria.

Dragons, fey, and other powerful magical creatures are seen throughout both continents.

The icy land to the North of Kallyria is known as the Polar Lands.

Looks interesting... Ill do it. as long as it isn't quite as fast as BsM...
Id prefer a fantasy setting... although, i did find some great books for Hack Master, the Si Fi DnD, at the library not to long ago...

So you use the DnD insider char builder?

Okay guys, I offically declare that it's a fantasy campaign.

@ Go ahead and send me the sheet and it's yours!

But I want you to use an point buy of: 18, 16, 12, 10, 10, 8 for you ability scores.

EDIT: I'm thinking that I would roll all the rolls, and control the logistics and math stuff.

Biscuit, Rubin and Zack: You guys can send me your character sheets now. Or you can tell me what you want and I can make it for you. Also, if you want to start to play with the three of you then that would be okay. People would be free to join if they wanted to.

Also, Please send me a description of what your character looks like, or a picture. I also require a brief backstory.

Yes, start at level one. You don't have to post the sheets, just send them to me in a pm.

As for the background info, anything you put will be great, but I specifically want your characters: occupation, social/economic status, past events, family. Everything else we be very helpful.

Everyone who is in the game, or is thinking about joining:
I will allow you to take two character flaws in exchange for two bonus feats. This can only be done at first level, and I expect you to use a flaw that both makes sense and you will be able to roleplay.

You can choose your flaws from this list here: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/DnD_Flaws

The d&d wiki is also a good place for reference.

When should we have our sheets done by?
ctcmjh

Re: ctcmjh's D&D 3.5 OOC and Planning.

Post by ctcmjh »

Just try to get them done ASAP. I won't post a deadline, or even start the rp, until we fill up all five slots.

As a note to everyone about your bios: About 98% of people cannot pull of the "stoic emo orphan bad boy with a heart of gold and a soft spot for cute girls". I've seen a billion of these characters, and only a few were actually good. And feel free to embellish about your characters. If you want me to tell you a town or city or village for your character, then of course I will. I would prefer it if everyone had a hometown.

Hmmmmmmm......It would be interesting if I had a Half-elf, who has Arachnophilia and is a misanthrope?
ctcmjh

Re: ctcmjh's D&D 3.5 OOC and Planning.

Post by ctcmjh »

Lol, that would be pretty funny.

EDIT: In my campaigns, if any half-breed chooses 'Misanthrope', they must hate at least one of, or both, of their parent's races. So you would hate Half-elves as well as either humans or elves.

Hey guys, no more half-elfs or rouges. Two is enough. Rubin and Zack, two rouges in a party might be too much. If you both want to keep it how it is, then it'll still be fine. But would one of you be interested in changing your class? Maybe a Ranger or a Fighter, they're very flexible character classes, and they can play similar to rouges.

Edit: Also, put Kuraius' class as Ranger, now.

Yes, you can add traits and flaws. PM me which traits and which flaws you're taking, so I can approve of them.

You can have up to three traits, but you receive no Bonus Feats from them.

EDIT: Everybody starts out with 300 gp. They can buy any mundane item they want with it. You can buy from any sourcebook, or from the d&wiki
