(A/N -text here-) This is an Author's Note, used to explain something to the reader.
“What!? What! What do you want?”
“Dont tell me you forgot! How could you forget? Were going to the Colorado. Remember?”
Peanut shook Grapes Bed on the word “Colorado” to Provide emphasis.
“Oh yeah... Hold on let me get out of bed.” Grape moved around on her soft pillow before letting out a large stretch, followed by crawling out of bed.
Once she was out, Peanut started talking franticly.
“Ive been up for like, 2 hours getting ready for the long road trip, I packed my DS, my books, my paper to draw the spot comics, the b-” Peanut was cut off by Grape; reaching out and clamping his snout shut with her hand.

In the kitchen, Grape was rummaging through the fridge, looking for something to snack on on the way there. She turned to the right to see Peanut struggling
with a giant book-bag full of his stuff. She snickered to herself when he barely fit the giant bag though the door, after getting out some turkey slices and a little bread, she made a sandwich and put it in a Ziploc bag for later, she grabbed her diary, and a pen along with a few other trinkets and headed out to the van.
Mrs. Sandwich greeted Grape with a friendly “Is that all your going to bring?” Grape looked down at her diary and nodded toward her mother.

About 30 minutes later Peanut was asleep, it was innevitable. They had been driving for 10 minutes and Peanut had finished half of a panel before conking out.
Grape took the time that peanut was asleep to write an entry in her journal.
Dear diary,
Today is the day that were driving to Colorado for a short vacation. They said there were a lot of mountains there, and that most of them had snow on them. So we might be able to play in the snow, or go skiing. Peanut's snoring is as Annoying as ever, I don't think I can handle it anymore. I'm just happy hes asleep so I can get some peace from his constant yammering.
She closed her Diary and looked out the window at the countryside, taking in all the beauty.
Despite sleeping for 12 hours last night, she fell asleep for most of the trip.

She was abruptly awoken by the sound of the car door opening.
She woke up, and looked over at Peanut, who was still asleep. She smiled and looked out the door at the new hotel That they were going to stay at, it had a grand fountain near the front entrance, marble floors inside and rad-carpeted interior.
She turned to her mom, who had just opened the door to start getting some of the luggage out.
“Is this where were going to stay?”Grape asked.
Mrs. Sandwich looked at Grape with a serious face. “No, this is where were going to stay. Your sleeping outside.”
Grape looked up at Mrs. Sandwich. “B-But i-”
“just kidding, your going to be in there with us.” Mrs. Sandwich Smiled to Grape, who's facial expression showed she didnt like the joke.
“Now wake up Peanut and tell him to help us bring in the luggage.”
