okay, how the heck am I only now noticing that Elijah Wood isn't English? I'm pretty sure I've seen him outside of Lord of the Rings before now, but I never noticed his lack of accent

That is the best thing to come back to! Fantastic story, despite the tears. Actually, they feel warm against my icy cheeks (enjoy your summer, my friends of the north).

University is kicking my behind right now and I still have two weeks of classes, a week of straight study and two weeks of exams. :(

You cannot know how much I want this semester to be over.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, that No-face gif is great! :P

For some reason the usage of the term "feels" kinda irks me.

I use "feels" ironically, like "ow, mah feels" or "right in the feels"

If I were in a serious situation, I'd use emotions

The Blockbuster Video store down the hill from where I live is going out of business. The locally owned video store is rejoicing. The only problem is that they are asking an absurd amount of money for scratched up DVDs and only giving 10% off on the new ones. Maybe they will start to come down on them as the end of the month gets closer.

I did a good deed. There is a lady there who is super nice and helpful, so I told her that the Goodwill is looking for full time people and hopefully when the video store closes at the end of the month, she can get a new job.

Considering that actually going to the theater costs approx $15, I think that redbox will survive with their $1 movies

Yea, but for the price to rent 7 movies at a Redbox (Assuming you return them all within a day) you can watch so many more, plus regular TV shows, and all without having to leave your house or worry about losing the disk with Netflix for a month.

But with Redbox you have to go to the nearest box thing. It's just as inconvenient

Online game retailers like Steam and Origin are better than BOTH of those two combined. Well, not so much Origin. But you get the point.

Netflix has two services.
One is instant streaming, where you can watch any TV show or movie (or anything you can get on a DVD, really) that Netflix allows streaming for, anywhere you want. Most devices have Netflix streaming functionality.
They also offer your standard DVD-in-the-mail bit with no time limits on how long you can keep a movie. You can combine both services.

The streaming wasn't available until a few years ago here, though. It may not be in some other countries still. I dunno.
