Glad to see I'm not the only one the forums who fancy themselves some Dio. :D
soooo many fonts to chose from! I found one that works pretty well; not too showy and not to boring. I'm still going to have to find a way to put all of these other fonts to good use. ;) thanks for the suggestions :D

Heh, it is an enjoyable fan comic, but some things die, you guys. Next time use a PM instead of necroing the thread.... the author should do that.

wow sorry for not replying. I have been really busy with school and have had very little time to work on non-school related things. although I have done a few pictures of these two as jokes for myself or to practice anthro characters, I haven't been able to actually draw out comics.

here I'll post 'em for you guys... because you're awesome.

Come back Scratch!

We're getting so desperate that I'm starting to beat my face against Artrage myself to see if something recognizable comes out.

I fear I messed up the markings and I just cannot seem to get the hang of Artrage like you seem to, but here ya go, some fanart! :)

Don't worry I'm still here, I'm just busy is all.
don't worry about your skill with ArtRage it just takes time and practice.(I know you've probably heard that before, but it's true!) that painting I did took me about 6 hours if not more to do; all the while weaving a oral tapestry of swear words and other obscenities upon each mistake.(But that's why there's an undo button!).

Oh hey, you are back. Good! Cannot wait to see more of this.

Those two really need some help. Please tell me King beats them in a fight and they become his lackeys whether King likes it or not.

Wait. What? whats going on? Where am I? How'd I even get here?! oh right it's that fan comic I was doing... Jeez it seems like so long ago now. Man, I should probably get back to doing this.

sorry for the light text, I thought it was darker. in the 3rd panel King says "take it" in case anyone wanted to know.
anyway I should warn you I'm trying to get back in the grove of this but I have many more important things to take care of so the updates are still going to be slow. also it's difficult to draw on my free time when I spend most of my time drawing for school projects;I just get worn out.
but enough excuses for now. I await your responses...pathetic mortals(just kidding, lol).

After I finished this I couldn't help but think King in the first panel looks like the Captain Picard meme: http://cdn.memegenerator.net/images/300x/5399574.jpg

Well played, Pete. Well played.
And yes, if you read Honorable Intentions' awesome ficcie, you'll see how BAD Pete can go.
Myself, I opted for his more 'pragmatic' side, in which he prefers to make his interests coincide with his jerkiness rather than making enemies out of everyone.

Oh, he is not evil, just kind of a jerk.... and dislikes mortals.

Poor King, he should know better than to trust Pete by now.

It is, just that Pete seems so human here. Not a griffin at all.

oh I see. WELL IS HE GRYPHONY ENOUGH FOR YA NOW COPPER, HUH?
just kidding ;) it's all in good fun, so don't take it too seriously.
but in all seriousness I don't know what you mean when you say he's too human. the only thing I could think of is that his muscle definition seems smooth almost like he has skin instead of feathers. if that is the case it's because i tried to draw him with a more feathery looking body before but it just looked bad to me; I could try to work on that again though if you think it would look better.
Image
copper feel free to use the image as you will; it's for you. 8-) because you're awesome :D I originally just drew Pete but then kept adding to it and thought it turned out super cute

and now the next edition of HousePets II:The Revenge (or something equally as cheesy).

King look out the Pixar lamps evil brother is gonna get you!
also I edited these on Photobucket but when I preview them they look really bad and have that nasty yellow color from the lights so if they look like that for you tell me so I can try and fix it.

:D :D :D Thanks! I like random acknowledgement! I feel so honored.

As for the griffin like appearance, what got me were the hands. They did not look like eagle talons to me, and I did not see the leonine feet either, so I thought you were drawing him without them, which would make him more of a chimera type monster, but with Human/lion/bird, rather than the lion/eagle mix of the griffin...

I forget, is Pete a gryphon or a griffin? I could have sworn he was a gryphon... :?

first: you're welcome, and I wouldn't consider it as random acknowledgement but more overdue appreciation of your support because you've been there since I started; and always with a helpful comment. so thanks. :D (even though I do consider any comment helpful :P )

second:well when I first started I was drawing him with talons for feet but then I found reference pictures of gryphons and corrected that. as for the hands I'm trying to make them look more like claws then hands but I'm still terrible at drawing hands so for the time being I'll settle for his hands looking good enough to get the point across that they are hands

and third: Pretty sure they both mean the same thing I just use that spelling to avoid confusion because you know there is that one guy around here whose name is Griffin-something or something-Griffin, I can't remember but I hear he's kinda popular or something like that. man, I can't for the life of me remember his name.
