'genies' = pun/misspelling with 'genes'
in Italian, i could have used 'genii', but it's an archaic form the readers wouldn't have gotten, so I twisted 'genetica' (genetic) and 'geniale' (genius)
'canoscienza', a twist of 'conoscenza' (knowledge) is a comic distortion I heard through my life. Incidentally 'cano' is a twist of 'cane' (dog)
'ripulitori di case' is slang for 'looters'. I decided to use that because I thought you were trying an untrsalateable pun with 'procon looters' and so I referred to the fact that raccoons love to keep themselves 'clean' (puliti)
But if you are just having Falstaff to speak funny without puns, I could rewrite the dialogues. Yup.

The pun in particular is he's mangling the scientific nomenclature for the raccoon, procyon lotor. I'm pretty sure it'd only ever come out that cleanly in English.

yup. I had checked, later, and got it. It was simply impossible to translate properly, so I'll keep the current translation as it is. If I come up with something better, I'll correct.
Thank you.

Honestly, there is no 'Dear John' equivalent in my language or culture. Any other reference would be too direct for the reader, so I chose to use 'caro amico' to make it (perhaps, knowing Sasha) clear that something major may be happening.
'Caro amico' = 'Dear Friend'... Somehow I can't see it used in a relationship...

I found official Italian WSS lyrics:

Sasha... è questo il suo nome: Sasha...

Alt-text: Tony / Finirò in una tomba come Tony

it's the closest thing we have in our language for 'twinkie' and sounding funny. Such word is mainly used in the northern regions.
