Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I'm sorry Sleet, I don't take foxes as valentines. Duster, you can be my valentine! I agree with Seth, no social media for me on Thursday! I have no qualms with my single-ness; last year, the first and only time I had a romantic valentine, I got to see just how much he regarded my feelings. |D I would rather be single than deal with that again! *high fives the other single people* If I didn't have to work that night, I'd ask one of my guy friends to dinner and a movie. He's the most nonchalant guy ever, and he'd be like, "Yeah! Anti-Valentine's Day date FTW!" Would sound good to me.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I'm single too. And I don't really care.
I actually wouldn't mind doing something like Beagle wants to do. I already kinda did the day Warm Bodies came out. Me and 4 of my (female) friends went to go see it. And of course someone I knew from school sat right in front of me right as my friends started talking about topics best not brought up on this forum. I love my friends, but they are going to end up shorting my life by a year or two if they keep doing things like that. I can't imagine how it would be if I got a girlfriend.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
Hey Beagle, I'll be your Valentine too if you want! I agree, if you're single, Valentine's Day shouldn't affect you at all, if you're not then it's just a great day to spend as a couple. Oh geez, I'm in the same boat there. If I got a girlfriend, she'd have to like video games and dark/dirty humour otherwise she'd probably leave me because of my friends.

If I ever had a girlfriend she'd need to be a pretty bad judge of character.

If I ever find another girlfriend she will need to have the patience of a saint. I agree, I think it would be pretty weird if a straight guy told his co-worker that he was going out with his "boyfriends" that weekend.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
One of my friends once did that exact thing. We were eating lunch in school freshman year. I'm not sure how the discussion got to this point, but she ended up asking me if I had ever had a girlfriend. I told her no, I didn't, and her exact words were "Yea. Me neither." All of us (Several of my friends were there) instantly busted out laughing. I mean, she is straight (It wasn't too long after that one of my friends actually confirmed she had a crush on me...) so we just all found it absolutely hilarious. I don't want to know how many people we've scared away at our table over the past 4 years. Man, this is one part of school I'm not going to miss. (And no, my friend didn't take it the wrong way. She laughed right along with us.)

I would love an Australian valentine<3! And ironically, I'm wearing my fox shirt today. Horray for all my hoodies being in the laundry! I work 16 hours next week, and have Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off! Yay! I'm making nice progress on saving money for my summer trip with all these hours I'm finally getting.

How do you even eat one? Just stick with candy. It tastes better and has fewer parasites.

I'm already overwhelmingly attractive and nice-smelling, what is this blasphemy you speak of? So. Did my programming work in about fifteen minutes, slept (for like an hour) until lunch, found a new table I like a whole lot better than my old one, and I'm feelin' refreshed. Radio and Jeff, do you guys want a valentine?

I think my favorite part of Valentines is being able to print as many cards as possible and then handing them out to people I know at school. Last year the Housepets ones I gave were really liked at my clubs.

My valentines day plans now include tacobell, the new Waka FLocka mix tape, and hanging out with my best friend after work. Not exactly romantic but hey at least it should be a good thursday.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
For some reason, that doesn't surprise me.
Although come to think of it, I think Beagle and Texascat are the only two people I've willingly given my location to. Not my address, but state anyway.
Actually, getting an actual card would be nice. As long as I got to it before my parents did and avoid explaining why I'm getting mail from out of state.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
@Zukio- Any man wearing Old Spice or Axe will get endless hugs from me. And I'm not talking about these awkward-friend hugs. I mean like a full blown "put my head on your shoulder and stand there because you smell amazing hug." Dissension, shut up, all of you have willingly gave me your addresses. I can't wait for college next year! I get my own mailbox and you guys can write to me, finally! :3 I have always wanted red roses from a guy other than my dad for Valentine's Day. I mean, even if a friend got me cheap roses from Wal-Mart, I think it would be the most sweetest (and still platonic) geusture anyone could do for me, and it would make my whole day.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
you still have to get your trophy! Imma gonna mail it to you someday. can't you say that the mail was from your old friend who moved out of the state? I have to explain the same thing to my parents in the future. a corporal that I know on FA made me Canadian dogtag for me and he is going to mail it soon or meet and give it to me someday. I would mail you one, but by the time it reaches your door, it would be all dried and dead. so why not interweb flower? I caught a bad cold from running 800m race, not directly from running but it half killed me and I lost my immunity. I'm going to be sick for valentine's day. woohoooo!

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I can't say I know anyone who's moved out of state. I'm not one of those people who make a million friends, I usually only have 5 or 6 to speak of. And my parents are pretty aware of them. Oh, well get better then. I would tell you to take it easy and take medicine and bla bla bla, you know what I would say so I'm not going to.

Your parents really moniter your friends that much? I was always hanging around different people/bringing new people over. My parents just sorta rolled with it.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
No, you're getting me wrong.
My parents don't really try to control my life all that much. Well, they don't at all.
They're just aware of my friends because I don't make a million of them. I do have friends that my parents don't really know too much about, it's just the ones that would send me a card in the mail could also just as easily hand it to me in school.

Exactly. Hey, as long as you don't use it like an awkward middle school boy who piles it on after gym class instead of taking a shower, Axe smells nice! I mean like the deodorant, I do not like body spray. Real men use cologne, soap, and deodorant. And shampoo.
