The Magical Carot...nice ring to it. She looked so happy in that last panel, maybe she loves fluffy things, like his ears!

Seeing how the black/purple light turned Sabrina purple, what would Grape look like under that light? A periwinkle singularity?

I spy with my little eye... a Kari-cycle. Also, to the shipping comments: Tarot's totally gonna break his heart, you guys.
Karishad - "You only liked me for my ability to simulate bi-wheeled vehicular transport!"
Tarot - "In my defense, you're really good at imitating the sound of a motorcycle engine."

I picture Tarot being a master stage magician with Karishad as her top hat mustachio assistant on stage o.O
Of course, He has to be the one to cut her up and stuff, which Peanut will feint everytime he sees it.

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
HOLY CARP THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!! *proceeds to fan boy scream* I love the heavy brush. It gives the entire comic a certain distinctive style that compliments it so well. I love, love it, love it!! Also new characters lend well to the comic. And I see Bino looks nice as well!

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
I see we didn't have to worry about Bino's appearance. The heavy brush was a bit jarring at first, but I've gotten used to it and kinda like it.

I have to admit the new style reminds me of Okami a bit. Might just be the heavy black line work.

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
I like the way Bino's face is drawn on the third panel with the ink. especially the ears. they just feel heavier than usual.
Sasha should totally go out as Cut Man.

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
This style is promising. Both Bino and Sasha look great. The irises are throwing me a bit off though - they seem so small!
Also, Bino called Jeff his "owner". Who wouldathunkit?

Um, where is the B on Bino's collar in the third panel? On any panel really...
The first two I can see because of the angles, but the third one should be revealed enough for it to appear...

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
New line-work is very... dramatic. Seems fitting for the month; not so sold on a permanent basis, though (which I noticed Rick himself isn't sure about either; so we'll see how that pans out). Also find the lack of lines around the irises a little weird. It's a super stark contrast to the extra heavy lines on everything else, and it's more than a little jarring.
Overall, I love the way Sasha's new design has been implemented into the strip, and I quite like the way the lines look on the characters themselves. Not quite so much on the backgrounds, though I suppose if Rick wants to make that a more permanent change, he'll only get better at it with time.
Wow, that's the longest comment I've made on a strip in a while. Um. Hey look! Cute, furry animals!

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
I like the new style for backgrounds, adds more to it with a very thick black and a color.
I like it for more differentiation, it's gonna be better for the characters to have more to them body wise to tell apart and make them their own personal selfs.
The outlines on characters? That's the only thing that bugs me, it just looks...too thick. I think it's a tad distracting but maybe it will grow on me a bit.
Of course this may or may not be final but the outlines are the only thing that strikes out to me as odd.
edit: Forgot about the eyes, they are fine, new style is all.

I agree that the outlines are rather thick for the characters. Still I could still recognize Rick's style.

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
wow, nice style. I was only expecting a change on characters but it seems that it's a fully change. The best part to me is the new background style, it feels much more realistic now. The collars also looks more realistic, and about Bino, I don't know why was needed all that discussion of before, when the only more noticeable change is just longer ears. He's practically the same. Oh, and I don't know why, but this new style remind me a bit of this: But probably I am the only one

Re: Arc #64 All Hallow's Ween
Still very much digging the line-work on the characters. I think the heavier shading also looks nice on background objects when it's just something simple like a bush. Although as a general critique of this strip, the sky looks extremely bland (and lacking in depth) when placed next to all of the heavy shading. It could probably use a few clouds or something. And while the lack of lines on the irises is still a little jarring, I think it's something that I can grow accustomed to (it doesn't bother me as much in this strip as it did in the first).
I'm also curious as to what Max would consider a '5'. Hahaha.

I like this new style a lot. It really seems to fit with the comic to me.
I wonder what Zach got at the Halloween Superstore....

If it were a 5, Zach wouldn't be able to answer the questions cause he'd have actually died.

The only real changes to the characters in today's strip are fur hue. Zach is a bit darker, now looking less pink, and Max is a bit lighter. = P
