I was a little disappointed that the one-offs have ceased.

Re: Arc #31: Spot McCloud Presents Comics
Well Rick normally only does one-offs for a week anyway. Plus this is really just going to be Spot doing his interpenetration of the book anyway (I think that's what its going to be based on its title) so its kind of like an extended one off.

One-offs aren't always used for a one-week duration.
Anyway, the subject matter of this particular double-strip flies way over my head. *swoosh*

Man.. tbh, I don't like Spot parts of the comic at all, so I'm a bit disappointed. I expected a Sabrina arc!

I agree with you on this comic-in-(Spot)comic thing. C'mon, Peanut, you can do better than this!

Regularly, rick does it for a week. For as long as ive read the comic he has done it for a week. Though that's only been about 2 months. So i wouldn't know.Dissension wrote:One-offs aren't always used for a one-week duration.

I'm a little out of the loop on this comic, so I'll just sit back and enjoy the silly drawings.

I can just imagine the thought process:Sinder wrote:rick is on vacation, so it's going to be nothing but Spot strips for a while

"Since I'm going on vacation, I'll build up the hype of it for the forum members and let it leak, and then I'll make them all crazy by confusing them with juxtaposition! IT CAN'T FAIL, BECAUSE I WON'T BE THERE TO GET FLAMED! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

That would be QUITE the achievement for him, considering he told us he's in Kansas.

Re: Arc #31: Spot McCloud Presents Comics
It's entirely possible to go to the beach in Midwestern states. haven't you ever heard of lakes? Or, you know, some rivers have sandy shores.

Re: Arc #31: Spot McCloud Presents Comics
Kansas has no big lakes (that I know of) to speak of, but I did consider rivers. My point was that I think Sinder was thinking of beaches as most people automatically think of them.
Re: Arc #31: Spot McCloud Presents Comics
EDIT: I am retarded. I was thinking Missouri.

Re: Arc #31: Spot McCloud Presents Comics
to be fair it's only a 12 hour drive from wichita to chicago
kansas is kind of named after a river but i doubt it has any impressive beaches
on the comic, when I first read it i missed "about comics" in the first panel

Re: Arc #31: Spot McCloud Presents Comics
You know that this is just basically retelling/parody of Scott's work right Rick isn't calling out shippers he is calling out people that don't know how to use Romance in their story right just like Scott did in one of his books. (At least I remember Scott doing it but its been for like ever since I read one of his works.) Edit: better wording.Esquire Fox wrote:Uh oh, the shippers got called out.

In the last pannel, its almost sounds like he's trying to tell us something. But what could it be? *sarcasm*

Well if it has anything to do with the shippers on the forum, then I know he's not talking about me, right? Right? RIGHT? Because I totally don't have my avatar and three different things on my signature about KingXSasha.Cerberusx wrote:In the last pannel, its almost sounds like he's trying to tell us something.
