sorrow: My class workload/work/fraternity commitments are way too much for me to handle right now. I think I'm getting close to a mini-nervous breakdown/freakout. Just not enough hours in the day to get everything done.
Sorrow:I hav erpetty much no social life outside of the weekends right now. I very rarely have time to do anything but class/work/homework
Joy:As far as I can tell I'm doing well in my classes so far so at least I'm not running myself ragged for nothing.

Joy: Saw some old friends.
Sorrow: Have to listen to "The Velvet Underground and Nico" and write a 3 page paper about it by October 4.
*Sigh*: Yet another ******* friend of mine seems to have picked up an addiction, but oh well.

You have my sympathies. My parents divorced when I was three, so I grew up thinking that the arrangement was normal. I can only imagine what you must be going through, having gone through it twice, and of an age you were truly cognizant of what was happening.
And you deserve some one who is more emotionally supportive. If your significant other does not change their tune perhaps you should move on.
There is nothing worse than being on your own in a trying time.

Re: Joys And Sorrows
Well, its happened. I had a confrontation with my racist co-worker and it landed us both in the supervisors office. I pleaded my case and reiterated all of the activities that that made him hard to work with, but as is typically of this place nothing is going to get done about it. It just made us both look bad, and he has no problem looking bad. Actually, he tried to take the moral high road in an attempt to make me look even worse.
I talked to the supervisor after ward and he said that he could move me to another section if I wanted. I jumped at the chance. He said he was going to see if he anything was available, but I have already applied for work elsewhere in other departments. I am not going to quit. He is not going to drive me off. I am going to stay where I am, having an extra wall between us is going to make it more bearable.

Joy: apparently I'm making a good impression at work. I can't fathom why, I don't work particularly hard and I'm not that good at my job. I guess I'll just chalk it up to my devilishly good looks and charming disposition . But for whatever reason my various supervisors seem to like me.

They're not playing today, as they were top seeded in EU, they got past the group stage.

No, both the head board and foot boards of the beds have these spoke type things on the tops and indentions that fit the spokes on the bottom, so they can stack up on each other. Tyler and I didn't have to get Resident's Life to do that though, we made the room ourselvesSleet wrote:Did that cost extra? LuLz that's actually really funny. I don't like USC for the school, only for football and baseball.
Also, there are only 16 college in USA that are nationally accredited in all of its majors, and Winthrop is one of them, so FACE!!!!
