Also try when Jello Biafra and Ministry's Al Jourgensen teamed up and formed the band Lard.

(was going to say this sooner, but internet problems...)
Some favorite songs of mine by Jello Biafra and the G.S.O.M.: Terror of Tinytown, Strength Through Shopping, The Cells That Will Not Die, and Invasion of the Mind Snatchers.
New Feudalism and Electronic Plantation are good songs too, but I prefer the No WTO Combo recordings.

I've never heard Lard before, which is surprising 'cause I've heard everything (well, almost I guess) that Jello's been in.

Speaking of somewhat obscure punk, I never realized how good the album American psycho is until I bought it this summer. It's been in pretty heavy rotation on my IPOD since then. It's a shame that so many people gave up on the band post-danzig, they made some really good stuff with Michael Graves.
The misifts:Speak of the Devil
^one of the more underrated cuts off that album

That was my first Misfits album, and it is still my favorite Misfits album.

Well in my opinion nothig beats the danzig era misifts, they'll always be one of my favorite bands. But Graves era misfits found away to be fun and embrace the horror punk motifs at the same time and they deserve credit for that.

Dillinger escape plan: setting fore to sleeping giants I've been really into these guys lately. Most people I talk music with seem to hate D.E.P but for some reason I can't get enough of 'em.

Also you might want to check out Jerry Only and Doyle's band that they formed while the Misfits were in break-up limbo.

I just saw Amon Tobin live. That was an awesome experience. The stage show was so cool too! The opening acts were painful, though. They had enough bass to make me vibrate. I was worried my heart would stop!

I just bought Owl City's New Album "The Midsummer Station" and a dvd of Owl City Live in Los Angeles.
Its really cool how much Matthew Thessien (lead singer and songwriter for "Relient k") has affected Owl City in terms of lyrics and the introduction of Electric Gutar since he started working with Adem in "Ocean Eyes". Its like my two favorite bands have merged together, and I love it!

Speaking of my two favorite bands, I also bought Relient k's cover album "Kis for Kareoke" a few days ago, and I can't wait for their new album to come out!

Are there any other Owl City and Relient k fans out there besides me?
Fino is coming, and he's bringing moon pizza.
