Re: General Halp!
You know how some people have those Fan Thingys on their Signature, How do I get them? D:
E.X: Peanut Fan, then it shows Peanut's Face.

Do you mean a signature? Or a "User Bar"? Both are made in Photo Shop. You can either request one, or make one yourself.

Yup, User Bars. You can make those with Photo Shop. Or you can request someone (if they're nice enough) to make one. I believe there is a few request threads around here in the "Media Median" "The Comic" section.

Re: General Halp!
To put it in your signature, (assuming you're on a PC)Auzzo wrote:You know how some people have those Fan Thingys on their Signature, How do I get them? D:
E.X: Peanut Fan, then it shows Peanut's Face.
1. Right click on the image
2. Select 'View Image'
3. Copy the url
4. Paste it as an image in your signature.
Here are all the ones I made:

You can make those in pretty much any image editing program. Like paint.net, gimp, photoshop. etc. some can even be done in mspaint.Slippery-Q wrote:Do you mean a signature? Or a "User Bar"? Both are made in Photo Shop. You can either request one, or make one yourself.

MSPaint is awesome. I use it to draw my pictures. (Implying they're even good, when they're not. xD) But still, I've seen some great art made in MSPaint. I love it because it's really simple too. Makes you work with what you have. You don't have all these different brushes, effects, colors, etc.

I'd use Flash, and make a gif with it. Make each avatar, then upload the fiels into flash. Use different keyframes. (Usually 5 frames, then another pic, 5 frames, then another, etc.) and when you're done, save it as a gif.

I think he means like ReCreate. Changing on page load.Slippery-Q wrote:I'd use Flash, and make a gif with it. Make each avatar, then upload the fiels into flash. Use different keyframes. (Usually 5 frames, then another pic, 5 frames, then another, etc.) and when you're done, save it as a gif.

You will need a HTML page for yourself to edit and upload , and then add this code
<?php
$files = glob('{*.PNG,*.png,*.JPG,*.jpg,*.GIF,*.gif}', GLOB_BRACE);
readfile($files[array_rand($files)]);
?>
save it as rotate.php
Then you create a folder in your images folder of your site and upload the images and the file you just created to that folder.
Then create a new custom module and add this link in it:
Code:
<img src="images/stories/rotate/rotate.php"/>
============
or ask ReCreate to upload some because It will take some time for me to re'edit HTML on my own website.

Re: General Halp!
That's pretty close to what I had done. Except it's less clever and you need to define the total # of images.Kyderra wrote:You will need a HTML page for yourself to edit and upload , and then add this code

Code: Select all
<?php
header("Content-Type: image/png");
header("Expires: Fri, 13 Jun 13 05:00:00 GMT");
header("Cache-Control: no-cache");
header("Pragma: no-cache");
readfile("FOLDER THAT CONTAINS AVATARS/".mt_rand(0,<TOTAL NUMBER OF IMAGES HERE>).".png");
?>
It's quite simple, all you need is a server that runs PHP. And FTP access to it to upload the PHP file.
(one that can be used is 000host, but if anyone wants to use mine for a dynamic avatar(newppg.com/recreate or recreate.upurload.com) feel free to ask)
