I've been waiting on him for a while in EC, and I haven't seen him on Skype in days. I'm wondering if he lost the ability to get online for a while...

This is because I was on skype on a phone, and my phone is stubborn when it comes to writing posts.

I'm working on it, it's just I don't have quite enough time any time that I try to write something, and then the computer gets restarted and I loose all my progress on whatever I was working on.

Understandable.
I really don't care if people post slowly/irregularly as long as it's for a legit reason and they warn me ahead of time.

You could always have one or two party members create a distraction when you get closer to town. That also helps split you up so posting might not take as long just in case people can't get on, or mental blocks.

I'm getting a little annoyed at all these RPs that seem to be time-skipping to the net day before the day is over simply because the GM is too lazy to sort out a small problem with character grouping...

well the fact that the Hunter is out means it is indeed night time.
But I do disagree with a time skip to the next day because our group still needs to get Duke to Rena's place then I had plans for my final post of the day, including the introduction of my ghost character.

perhaps a minor time skip, but not all the way to the next day.

as of today, my vacation starts: it will last until the 17th night (my time). I may be able to connect during my absence from home, but surely not as frequently as I use to do. So, expect a bit of slowness to me in these days.

Leaf hasn't posted or responded to my PM (I'll try him over skype next time I see him) but I'm really leaning towards a mini-skip towards tomorrow morning. Unless someone has something to finish it seems stupid to hold the rp up so everyone can post that they went home.

yeah, that's what I'd suggest. do a mini skip to the ending or close to the ending of the day and let people do their end of day posts...

Alright no offense to leafolawl or marine fox but you've been holding us up too long. I'm going to skip us ahead a bout a minute to when Gage and Buster have left Rena's. If you two still have any RPing to do You're free to do it at your own pace and the rest of us can keep moving. Not quite sure where that leaves Xhunterko or Valerio, I suppose it's your call which group you want to stay with.

I didn't exactly know that I was being waited on where I've posted somewhat recently, but I guess we could go through with the time-skip.

Leaf pointed out a very important matter: Hubert, being a magical entity that has lived for well over 4000 years and is very well learnt, is also a VERY powerful entity. And so, in order to tone down the fact that he could neatly solve everything with a snap of fingers, I gave him a trait so that he isn't really interested in 'doing the right thing', aka playing the superhero.
Basically, Hubert is honor-bound to Janus, and is still curious to learn and study the mortals rather than intervening in their affairs. Whatever he knows about the inabitants of Applegate is not for him to divulge. HIs magic is not at the service of the best offerer. When he breaks that vow is only because the situation is dire enough to require it and that involves Janus.
Anyone who wanted help from Hub, though, must only ask for it and, due to the curse that keeps him bounded inside a skull between dawn and sunset, only at night.
Remember: Hubert's not here to interfere, just to be the occasionally annoying wiseguy and/or poltergeist, as he has been so far. If anything required his personal touch, that would be the "We're toast" moment.
