My friend turned me onto a guy named Daveed Diggs recently, i just downloaded his album for free off his website and the couple tracks I've listened to so far are phenomenal. If anyone else is a rap fan you need to check this guy out. I'd link a track but he drops a bit too much profanity for it to be forum appropriate.

Well I'd venture to say that whatever it is you can't really define it. YOu might as well ask what makes a good rock song. You'll get a million different answers.

FOund a copy of Sing Sing Death House by the Distillers today so I'm in a pretty good mood. I loved the used cd place on campus so much. It's saved me a ton of money on cds I would have had to buy off amazon or some such nonsense.

Not sure, but I think Bad Brains is the only band to do punk rock and reggae. The fastest and baddest hardcore punk band makes slow and mellow reggae, awesome.

They can be pretty radical in their political views. Probably more than Rage Against the Machine.
