Well I'd just like him to have a personality, which he doesn't really beyond "I'm adorable and I like movies and blue girls"

I feel like he has a lot of potential to grow. He hasn't really gotten as much focus as he could have.

That seems like kind of a stretch. Though I'd be happy if it's true and means Nepeta gets to do something important!

well if you assume everything means something, this would explain why Hussie chose to show Lord English's reflection in Equius's glasses.

guys, guys...
Hussie... Kickstarter... HOMESTUCK VIDEO GAME!!!!
*hyperventilates*
(I'd link the kickstarter itself, but I'm not sure if it breaks the solicitation rule of the forum so I linked the announcement with the link.)
apparently if someone pledges $10000 or more, their fan troll will become canon.

But they have to pledge 100,000 dollars for that fantroll to survive past the first panel.

I am so stoked. I think I'm going to pledge 25 dollars. I'm actually seriously tempted to pledge $255, but I really need that money in case I need to start paying for an apartment soon.

well I don't have a source of income for myself, so I just pledged $15. but I will likely pledge more if I get a chance. if only this kickstarter could keep going until they actually finish the game instead of only lasting a month. I'd keep pledging any money I make.

I know it doesn't need it but I need a scalemate plushie 0n0.
on another note, I wonder if the game would be voiced. Dante Basco's already offered his services, and I know there are many talented voice acting fans that would audition if given the chance. But then again, would that make it too different from the comic?

EDIT: hey look

a couple points brought up on tumblr:
As Homestuck fans, we should be at least a little wary about being sent a video game to play on its release date.

Will this be a self-insertion type thing where we make our own character and get launched into a sburb game session with 3 computer generated friends? how about multi-player? could we sburb with our actual friends?

and one last point: this game will probably have a lot of money to work with judging by how fast it reached half of its goal.
oh, and do you think Hussie just made all those god tier rewards for fun, assuming no one would pay that much?

It's an adventure game it seems. Honestly I'll play it simply because Andrew Hussie is writing it. I imagine it's probably similar to playing Sburb.

I think he will go through with them.

Hey, if I had first guardian AND space powers, I'd totally make everything float while I was using it too! :D

Also, I don't know whether I like John's epiphany or not...so long as he doesn't stay grumpy I suppose.

Also I agree with Jade entirely on the subject of Con-Air.

Yes you can.

You should listen to the soundtrack albums. There's like 20 of them and they're all available to stream for free (or buy for money).

That's what I've been doing for the past week. :P I like
  • One Year Older,
    Sburb,
Homestuck Vol. 7: At the Price of Oblivion,
Homestuck Vol. 6: Heir Transparent (my favorite so far), and
    Homestuck Vol. 5 (second favorite).
I'm going to buy them when I can. Which will be a few months, probably. For now, I can settle for streaming.

"Friendship is Paramount" sounds like something off of a Mario game.

I now have Homestuck Vol. 1-4 and Homestuck Vol. 5. >:3
Sburban Jungle. Me gusta.

So the Hero of Breath hoodie is in Carolina Blue. I can't wear that to my college without getting punched. Hurgh.

I'm torn between the Hero of Time hoodie because I love Dave, and it totally goes with my college colors, or the Hero of Space hoodie because it's just super cool and Jade's God Tier is awesome.

Oh God, I got a friend in my programming class into reading Homestuck. He had previously started it a little bit, but the Archive Panic got to him. Now that he knows someone else is reading it, he's trying to catch up. Oh this poor boy, sacrificing hours upon hours of his life to the deliciousness of Andrew Hussie's work.

It's infectious. It's great having friends to talk about it with. I have two friends offline I got into it. The rest of my friends are less enthusiastic.

And yeah, Andrew Hussie is pretty darn good at world building/race building. Gotta hand it to him.
