Itsuki is pretty adorable. Though Mr. Sandwich comes across as a little condescending to him. I dunno.

Too bad I decided not to take my summer class. I feel like I wasted the summer
Wonder what Itsuki will do in this arc. He didn't do much in the last one.

And Itsuki comes across as a little bit insolent, so that balances out things.Sleet wrote:Though Mr. Sandwich comes across as a little condescending to him. I dunno.

Re: Arc 57: Testing Grounds
Is the tag around his neck supposed to indicate that he "officially" works with Mr. Sandwich now, or is that a purely cosmetic change?

Been there before.
Also, I think Rick missed a spot in Panel 4. The patch of fur on his left arm isn't colored.

I always wanted to buy a smartphone one day. But now I think I'll pass and be happy with what I already have.

Re: Arc 57: Testing Grounds
Tut tut. Before the exam started he should have taken his phone out of his pocket, turned it off, and placed it sealed under the table in the clear plastic bag provided. Then he should have placed his student card in the top-right corner of the table, and written his student number, table number and module number on the front of the exam paper. The time is currently 11.45am, meaning you will finish this exam at 1.45pm. You may begin.

That's why I never brought any electronic gadgets with me on tests besides a calculator.
And because no other devices were allowed in the rooms.

I generally keep my phone on vibrate, and I really don't get calls/texts all that often, so this was never really a problem for me.

an A average
Re: Arc 57: Testing Grounds
I don't think my GPA would stay at an A average if I got a D :I

I understand his pain but I have ceaseless envy that he manages to have an A average with a D

All he has to do now is just put on a paddy hat and grab a knife to commit honourable sudoku and we have our stereotype bingo complete!

Funny, when I was in high school last year, tests were 70% of your grade. Flopping one of those was actually a serious problem. D:Sleet wrote:It was just on one test. His grade remains an A.

Re: Arc 57: Testing Grounds
When I was in high school (and college), the teachers and professors typically said things on the line of "To get an 'A' for the semester, you need to make at least a 62 on the final. = P

Re: Arc 57: Testing Grounds
I had a teacher last year who refused to tell us what we needed to pass. She said if we knew what we needed to pass, that's what we would aim for. By not telling everyone, they would then go for the highest score they could.

I always tried for the highest score I could, too, but it was nice to know I wouldn't be sunk if I had a bad day. x3

Re: Arc 57: Testing Grounds
With just four tests you can get a 92 average with a 67 on one.Tha Housefox wrote:Funny, when I was in high school last year, tests were 70% of your grade. Flopping one of those was actually a serious problem. D:Sleet wrote:It was just on one test. His grade remains an A.
