 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
Currently reading the Seven anthology by Delcourt and I'm loving it. Especially the sixth issue about Yakuza with its stunning art that blends Franco-Belgian and Manga style. Awesome stuff.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
Just got through reading "Hellboy: House of the Living Dead". It is a direct sequel to the Hellboy story "Hellboy in Mexico". It is written by Mike Mignola and drawn by Richard Corben. Like the last story, it is an ode to Mexican horror films of the 50s and 60s like "The Robot vs The Aztec Mummy" and "Santos vs The Vampire Women". It even has a scene where Hellboy fights a Frankenstein's Monster-like creature in a wrestling ring!
I also read "Double Feature of Evil" with our hero investigating a haunted house and the second story has a man using ancient Egyptian magic to bring mummies to life. It ends with the villain being eaten by Sobek!

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
Why are you giving away the ending, Brokonkwo? Unless it's the kind of story where the ending doesn't really matter. Here's a spur of the moment questiodilla Of the comics you read, what are your favorite individual strips? Or pages, I suppose, if it's done in pages. I only really follow two (guess what one of them is), so I'm gonna have a short list. Autumn is the best, and I love the way Precocious manages to balance being cute and being mean. This arc in general was just pretty great in my opinion. If you're curious, my favorite Housepets strip is probably this one, although if I had to pick one that was more indicative of the comic as a whole I'd probably choose this.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
I don't actually play favorites. I like things as a whole. I sometimes like specific types of strips, like how I love every time Evil Inc. uses a pun as the punchline. but it's to hard to choose one favorite for me.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
Recently I just got into this really wacky series call "Chu 'n' Tost." The only thing I will say about the comic is that the main characters are a train and slice of bread.
Also, does anybody read Romanticly Apocyliptic?

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
Just got the second volume of "FUBAR" in the mail. For those interested, it is an anthology book of stories during World War II, but with a zombie plague breaking out and the millions of dead littering the earth rising up to attack Axis and Allies alike. The first volume was set in the European theater of the war, so this second volume is set in the Pacific theater.

I don't have it in front of me, but it is an anthology book so it has several different writers and artists. Its really good, you should check it out! If you like a mix of the zombie/horror genre and war stories, also check out "'68" and "Graveyard of Empires". There are some movies that mix these two genres too!

A few are humorous, but the majority are pure horror.

" '68" and "Graveyard of Empires" are pure horror. "FUBAR" is an anthology book with multiple stories, only two are humorous but have zombies and gore, the rest very serious horror.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
To add to what I said before, I just ordered " '68: Better Run Through the Jungle".
A little bit of background, " '68" was originally meant to be a spin-off of George A. Romero's "Night of the Living Dead", but was made its own entity. It is set during the Vietnam war, in particular the aftermath of the Tet Offensive, in 1968 which is the year "Night of the Living Dead" was released. It bounces back between a young Army private and his tracking dog in the jungles of Vietnam, and in California with a group of student activist who all come under attack from reanimated corpses.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
sadly both 68 and the empire one are paid comics not available in Brazil. I'm not going to order them for the same reason why I don't buy the housepets books...the traslation of the dollar price to real +the ship to get here would be a stab to my pocket.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
Good news! "Alpha Luna: The Werewolf Girl" is updating again! http://www.alphaluna.net/And, I found another comic that combines World War II and the zombie genre. Its called "Iron Siege". Its sort of what you would get is you combined "Assault on Precinct 13" and "28 Days Later". Set in an isolated French village in 1944, a mysterious disease is mutating people and animals into flesh-eating monsters. A group of American soldiers, German soldiers and French partisans have to ban together in an old castle to fight off the monsters. Its very well written. As much tension comes from each group not trusting each other as comes from the creatures trying to kill them.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
Just finished reading TwoKinds two days ago and I loved it! I'll probably move onto Homestuck now.
I'm still a reader of Bittersweet Candy Bowl, xkcd, and Slightly Damned. Although, all this filler for SD lately has been getting on my nerves. I might drop it for a while and return to it in a couple months. From what I have seen, most artists are preoccupied during the summer and either get slack with updates or slack with the storyline. *shrugs* They have their own lives too, and the comics are free anyways, so it doesn't bother me.

Plenty of comics in both those genres but none that combine them in my searches. Sorry. That would be a good idea for any up and coming webcomic artist to create though.

Go for it. Stick figures never stopped "Cross Time Cafe". The only zombie apocalypse webcomic I know of is "Last Blood" but it is not furry. But it is a very good comic. Also, I found a very nifty adventure furry comic: http://www.arkworldgalleon.com/comic/

I'm pretty sure I'll regret it later. I'll start uploading this webcomic when I get inspiration to it. I decided to make it a comedy inclined plotline since nobody would ever take it serious (not even I). http://seraph-sama.deviantart.com/art/A ... -316175664This is my deviantart account.

Just take some words of wisdom I heard from Trey Parker once, "You don't need Disney or those sweet graphics. If its good, be it funny, scary, or whatever, it will shine through any limitations."
I would read that comic too!

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
I just bought a boat load of Manga from Amazon. Its one of my favorites, "Gunsmith Cats". Its a crime drama set in Chicago. I got them really cheap ( one of the was only a penny!) because they are older editions that are in the Western right-to-left style. I know the purists don't like it when Western publishers do that, but I prefer them printed this way.

 Re: Favorite Webcomic/Comic Series/Graphic novel
I already pm'd angelusbr about this, but I thought that I should share it with the rest of the forum. A furry zombie comic! Warning: Violence and gore! http://furryzombiecomic.tumblr.com/http://www.furaffinity.net/user/sciggles/Its hosted through the creator's tumblr and furaffinity accounts. Its about a young dragon couple who's night out on the town is ruined by a George A. Romero style zombie apocalypse!
