really? I think it's fantastic television. I tend to hate reality T.V. on principle alone but for some reason I can't stop watching Hardcore-pawn and Hell's Kitchen.

You're a good person. That's one of my favorite shows.

I watch:
Scrubs,
American Dad,
Family Guy,
[I'm getting into] Futurama,
Comedy Central Presents,
That 70's Show,
Degrassi [shutup!],
Spongebob,
The Simpsons,
Hey Arnold!,
South Park, and
Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I enjoy the earlier seasons of House, Digimon, and Pokemon. I used to watch Naruto all the time but I haven't really been faithful watching it since Shippuden came out.

.... If you notice, quite a few of the shows I watch come on at inconvenient times or have been discontinued. So really the only shows I watch regularly are The Big Bang Theory and American Dad.

That's a good show too. There's some interesting stuff on there. My dad and I watch it together on the nights when I'm actually home!

One show I'm currently going through is Married... With Children

It's consistently funny, if just a tad raunchy

I stopped watching Fairy Odd Parents after Poof came along and especially after that live action with Drake Bell. I just seemed to lose appeal.
Call me Red or Harley, either is fine.

The Fairly Oddparents died down over time, but it was less sudden than Spongebob.

Most Nick shows that appeal to me have long since been cancelled. I liked "Ren And Stimpy", "Invader Zim", "Danny Phantom" and "Angry Beavers".

I never like "Spongebob" or "Fairly Odd Parents", they just never appealed to me.

I loved "Ren and Stimpy" most of all. Most people did not know that it was originally intended for MTV but at the last second they censored a couple of episodes and put it on Nick.

I actually have a funny story about that. "Ren and Stimpy" was the only show that I was not allowed to watch when I was little. It was only because my stepmother did not like it. She used to tell me that she was not my mother as an excuse to not help me with anything, but if she tried to give me ordes one would swear she thought she was my mom. She got my dad to forbid me from watching it on threat of beating.

This seemed kind of odd considering that I was allowed to watch "Married... With Children". Of course, I was also allowed to watch "Children Shouldn't Watch Dead Things" and "I Spit On Your Grave" but whatever.

It is a good show. It so absurd in places.

I also liked anthology shows, like:
Tales From The Crypt and the cartoon version (God help us) Tales From The Cryptkeeper
The Outer Limits
The Twilight Zone
Monsters

and I was lucky enough to find some episodes of "Freddy's Nightmares".

Jay Sherman - The Critic =3

Beast Wars and Reboot were top contenders for my childhood favourites along with Tiny Toons, but Dragon Ball Z gave me the memories i loved the most about anime, even if it was slow.

The critic was hilarious! I wish it had continued.

There is something called Dragon Ball Z: Kai, where they cut out all the filler. It went from 190 episodes to 90. It is much more fast paced now.

Favorite TV Shows

Post by Arjay »

I saw that we had a favorite movie thread, but in my opinion, due to the increase in possible length, TV shows can be better than movies. So i ask you guys,

What are your Favorite tv shows?
(includes recent, all time, used to like, and maybe even why)

If you want to you can share the shows you don't like, but please don't make it all about that. have at least one liked show per post please, unless commenting on someone else.
