One-Offs: Set #12
One-Offs: Set #12
*SNNNNNNERRRRRRKKKK*
King's lookin' styln' in the last costume.
Though, it seems he starting to think more doglike..."Clothes are bad," kinda thing going on here. Or, it's just the cute outfits from heck, here to torture him. Either way, he's cute when he's annoyed.
EDIT: Eheheheh...I mean, set 12.

I was going to make this thread, but I wasn't sure of if it was decided it was a mod only thing. Oh well.
Is it me or did king get shorter? Like Corgi short?

Wait...is that Rick's drawing style? Somehow it looks like a guest comic there, I don't know why....
Of course, that means I'm going to have to do another audio file and send it to Ebly....
Funny that he would say that--I'm not too surprised, honestly.
(What? No KING costume? )

Re: One-Offs: Set #12
The first think I thought of when I saw this was Chiyo in her penguin suit from Azumanga Daioh. Of course this was not as cute but there is absolutely nothing as cute as Chiyo in that penguin suit.
Edit: Ok now I'm imagining King in that Penguin suit. (I just finished watching Azumanga Daioh again today so its kind of on my brain.)

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Oh man, I'm still laughing! I think it's kinda funny that Pete would be the type of owner to dress up a pet. And yay! This is the second filler King has been in! woot!
Re: One-Offs: Set #12
Well, you people wanted him, and there you go. King.
A one-comic distance is probably as close as he and Sasha are going to get for a while. Maybe, I really don't know.
Also, Yes! Pets in this world can actually object to being clothed.

Aww. I'd think King would be glad to be wearing clothes for once.
Also, total fanservice comic. (Not that kind.)

You've been enjoying too much art from Kyderra =P. Or perhaps it has been accepted that King only appears regularly in fan workings.ChewyChewy wrote:Wait...is that Rick's drawing style? Somehow it looks like a guest comic there, I don't know why....

Interestingly I was actually thinking of King IN a king costume and having more or less that expression on his face today.
Well, it wasn't accurate but maybe I have a teensy bit of Tarot-like powers in me...?

I get the feeling at times Pete is a teacher of sorts to King at times: Teaching him how to like something by having him try out what he's bad at until he's use to it =P
also, liked all the designs, but #5 got my vote. Mayor King @_@

That'd be an awesome name/collar tag for King's hypothetical son. Now if only it weren't a totally terrible idea in the first place...

I wonder if Any other pets will see the photos? Could get interesting. Also the top hat is adorable, formal wear on other pets would be cute too, curse my lack of drawing skills!
May you lead an interesting life.

King sure does look like a child when looking that short.
I love his expression is outfit #5, it reminds me of Mr. Bigglesworth in This for some reason. I guess it is because of the blank intelligent look.

Re: One-Offs: Set #12
I've gotta agree. It looks good, and as I'm a sucker for any King comic I love this one, but it does look like it was either done by someone else or done in a lot less time than normal. Maybe it's the lack of 'background', but it doesn't quite look as... ah... polished as normal?Wait...is that Rick's drawing style? Somehow it looks like a guest comic there, I don't know why.
Also, I'm afraid I'll have to break convention and say my favourite is the cowboy costume ^^
Edit: Oooohh..... what if he got dressed up as Pete's disguise?!? He could have a fake mustache and everything!

The baseball outfit was so adorable on King.
I ship Grape&Peanut and support King&Bailey
Re: One-Offs: Set #12
it happens that the author is somehow quite busy and the time for the comic is not enough.sliceofdog wrote:I've gotta agree. I think.
Re: One-Offs: Set #12
The baseball out-fit is by far the best one. He looked almost like he is part of a gang, or he is a punk or something, which I think he could pull off, because he seems like he needs an out-fit that represents him, and the baseball out-fit suits him perfectly (minus the baseball bat of course.) Now I’m just wondering what some of the other characters would look like if they wore SOME clothes. Because I could so see someone wearing a black suit, with white pin stripes and a black fedora, with white pin stripes (Mafia style.)

I just noticed that kings collar buckle is rectangle instead of circular. O_O
(And he is shorter by the way)

I say, the basketball outfit and the suit and hat suits King just fine. Looks annoyed but seems to be accepting of it.
Re: One-Offs: Set #12
How can you tell that he's shorter when he's the only one in the photo? You don't have anything to compare him to.Zander wrote:I just noticed that kings collar buckle is rectangle instead of circular. O_O

Also, I didn't know Pete likes do dress his dog. But it's cute .

His limbs are short compared to the rest of his body, and his muzzle is short compared to the rest of his head. It's a proportion thing.Alex wrote:How can you tell that he's shorter when he's the only one in the photo? Re: One-Offs: Set #12
Corgis are like Dachshunds. They have very short limbs.
Let them run around outside in the morning and they'll bring the morning dew in with them, soaking their chests. The grass is much taller.
So cute <3!
But I don't know why proportion is the topic of debate.
Can't we just talk about how awesome King is ?
