The 3D does look a little bad, but they might make a little better later on. I'm hoping they remove it altogether though. Either way, oh my God this looks awesome.
And since I can say it, Chase Young is still one of my favourite cartoon characters of all time.

I doubt it'll be removed. 3d is used to save costs. But the rest of the animation looks great. I also hope what they said about changing the name of the sheng gong wus to be fake.44R0NM10 wrote:The 3D does look a little bad, but they might make a little better later on. Chase Young is the best villain of the series.

*screams like a Justin Beiber fan and starts bouncing off the walls*
Oh my gosh I'm so excited! The original show was one of my favorite cartoons when it was on! Raimundo was my favorite character.
In all honesty, I don't mind the CG. That ship arena thing looked suitably spooky and atmospheric. I'm more bothered by the voice changes. Danny Cooksey IS Jack Spicer for me, and Grey DeLisle IS Kimiko for me.
Oh well. At least we'll still have Tara Strong!

One has to wonder if that's an sequel or a remake of the show. I hope it's a sequel. We might see some new element xiolin dragons. I just hope they keep the entire old cast for this new show. Raimundo is also my favorite protagonist there.

they can't keep the old voice cast, but I doubt they won't keep all the old characters.

Looks awesome.
Too bad Jack has a different voice actor.

OK, just what the heck was Omi wearing?
I did used to watch Xiaolin Showdown religiously as a kid, but if this is what the reboot offers me I'm out. The initial animation and style were spot on, but the changes in voice (and possibly cast) might just sour the deal for me.

In the original series, they fought the showdowns with their training clothes, then with cool ninja outfit and now they're tron.Onlythebassist wrote:OK, just what the heck was Omi wearing?

My friend had just seen this. He didn't seem too impressed. He's mostly upset about the fact that WB isn't in charge of making the sequel.
