 What MMO(s) do you play? The purpose of this thread is to share what MMOs you play, and for general discussion about them. It is also used for finding others with your same interest and for planning to play together. I will keep a list in the second post of who plays what game, so it is easier to find those who you can play with instead of having to search through pages if it comes to it.
I play many MMOs, however, most of them I have no knowledge of anyone else who does, so hope this thread might show me someone I could possibly play with.
Rules:
Do not down-talk other MMOs completely as it may offend those that like it. You can talk about why you dislike it, just no "This game sucks."
Post with Purpose, no single words posts or posts for the only purpose of making jokes.

I honestly dunno anything about Starcraft, but I do know it is popular, and Korea actually has playing the game as a sport.

Minecraft and Terraria is debatable as well, since you can have a lot of players in one server but you most usually have about 4 friends max. I'd mention Starcraft 2 isn't an MMO since I don't often see more then 2-8 people in the same game on videos, but I haven't played the game to know.
An MMO means that hundreds if not thousands of people can play the game together simultaneously. This does mean in the same server. The vast majority of these games are RPGs for obvious reasons. MMOs that aren't RPGs would be like Eve Online, Tribal Wars or the upcoming Firefall (although, I'd be more likely to call it a hybrid of RPG/FPS then simple MMOFPS myself)
That being said, this is a nice looking list of online games people play. Online games that I've played include (but are not limited to):
League of Legends (both EU went and NA)
World Of Warcraft (EU server alone)
Runescape
Osu
Team Fortress 2
Terraria
Minecraft
Spiral Knights
and, I currently have downloaded World Of Battles, though haven't had the time to play it yet.

On the topic of MMO, yes, they may not be MMORPGs, so I guess they will not be up for discussion, but the second half is this thread is to help find others who play the same online game as you. Regardless if it may not be a MMORPG, it still has the "Massive Multiplayer Online" factor which MMO stands for.
So as long as it is not a console game, or a Steam game (unless it is steam exclusive), I will add it on the list.
Team Fortress I guess is an exception since it is predominantly online, but I will not add things like L4D.

Re: What MMO(s) do you play? I play Terraria, Minecraft, and TF2. TF2, not as much, because my computer has an awful graphics card so my framerate is unreliable at best. I can play Minecraft well enough on low settings, and Terraria as well (though the last time I tried to play Terraria on a server with a friend, I couldn't seem to keep myself from being booted from the server constantly; that might just have been the internet connection though).
I'd like to get back into World of Warcraft at some point, or pick up Guild Wars or Tera, but I'm not sure which I would go with.

On a separate note, there are a ton of games on this list that I have never heard of. Not suprising since I do not research much, but still, looking at some images of some does make them look good.

Right now, mainly Minecraft and TF2.
I used to play alot of those games for ijji, soldier front. A.V.A., GunZ, and there was another one i cant remember the name of. Something about controlling different types of cartoony tanks and shooting at each other in a turn based arena.
Played Lol for a bit, it was fun but i kinda sucked at it.... could never get the hang of it...

Re: What MMO(s) do you play? I never like when games are server based. Finding someone to play together with on games like WoW and Perfect World is very hard since you have to be on the same server, and WoW wants you to pay a fortune if you want to switch servers.
I like when games like Runescape and Phantasy Star let you pick what server/world you want every time you log on.

Re: What MMO(s) do you play? Gotta say, I really misunderstood you at first there Flint. I was about to say that I've found WoW one of the easiest MMOs to find groups in. The LFG system is incredible, and it allows you to do pugs ('Pick Up Group', AKA playing with complete strangers) really easily and with players of every server. I do recall seeing a video once where players of different realms/servers managed to do an instance together using this system. Not sure how they did it, but judging by how excited they were when they got in the same instance, it probably took them a while. Link Contains swearing.

Re: What MMO(s) do you play? Well, Diablo III has now come out. The collectors edition seems to be fetching ridiculous prices. It costed $100 in the stores, and it is already worth over $200 online.

Re: What MMO(s) do you play? My chemistry teacher mentioned that he expected to contract a mysterious illness on the day Diablo III came out. It turns out he was right, we had a sub today. xD
Anyway. I used to play Dungeons and Dragons Online a lot, but I kinda stopped a while ago. Same for Runescape. The most recent MMO that I've played a decent amount is Spiral Knights. I tried to get into League of Legends, but ... eh. I downloaded it, played about three games, and haven't touched it since.
