Hetalia

Post by Wanderer »

Anyone heard of this anime?
Its a political satire of the axis and allies during WWI~WWII
A very amusing take on world history.
I admit I, in fact, despise history but nonetheless found it to be funny and a break from my boring textbook.
Lots of making fun of countries! There's probably a reason why stereotypes are funny.

Also, Canada.

Oooohhh that anime~

I've heard of it but never really bothered to watch it. xD Though, I HAVE been seeing fanart of those all over the place. Seems interesting though, MIGHT try to watch it at some point.

And of course the video's not available in my country. I:

I rather like it, though I swear, it's one of the biggest teases ever at some points...

I wanted to see America go through his garage so badly...but they didn't show it for like 10 episodes after they first advertised it.

I wasn't aware of the huge fanbase. -_- Its almost like they have a fandom dedicated to it. Such immature commenters! Why do they always have to pair up random characters? T_T

Ah yes it definetely teaches history. Fun to watch as well!
It focuses mostly on the modern era, so almost nothing on the classical ages.
You have finals now? I'm sure most people are done with their finals, weird.

I think my city is the only one having finals next week, but yay its educational (why do they call it finals if they have it at the end of second semester again?)

PASTA!~ XD
Your school just has a different schedule than mine.
Good luck on your finals then.
Just saying, the show doesn't go into too much detail so never use it as the only source of studying.

Hehe the dub is so much better than the sub. There is a lot of "additional information" in the dub versions. Things that are not actually said in the original version are said in the dub, which I'm fine with. It's funnier that way!

somebody's gotta tell me, is USA trying to be gangsta? I mean, I think he is, but I don't know nearly enough about that genre to know. (I never imagined gangsta rap would be the sub culture of USA, honestly)
