actually the fan projects section covers anything set within the HP universe, even if it doesn't have HP characters. Coatl-Ruu's Dogs of War fan fiction is set in a war zone in an entirely different country.

the rating thing could be a problem, but you could conceivably make a new thread, post each strip if it's PG-13 or below, and link to the site if it goes beyond the rating. unless you mean something other than excess violence or profanity. No linking that.

Okay.... so Pete made evry PET HIS AVATAR? Well, it is original thinking, I guess....

well he's not the first to think of one nerd having multiple avatars, but this is the first time Pete had an entire neighborhood.

this sounds both interesting and...weird.
I mean, funny how Pete wouldn't know the risks of extending his avatarship to such an extent.
Also, funny how such a powerful creature (bigger than life, in more than one meaning) could be affected by the draining from a handful (in their terms) of mortal creatures -I mean, seriously, we're talking people who claimed they can CREATE a universe if they wish to do so!
And, though Great Kitsune proved so far being a jerk for allowing Pete to steal Joel's soul (but again there might still be the 'grand design' behind such decision), I find it somehow stretched that Pete could claim a whole neighborhood as avatar, while his choice was by rule limited to one mortal soul. (and he lost initiative in The Game for turning Joel without consent, so the rules were applied).

But I guess it's my ol' critic self resurfacing. now back down and let's see what happens

Interesting way to do that. Let me guess you did this so when he actually does pick an Avatar in the comic he can pull himself into that one and your comic will be more in line with canon?

They're not so "great", at least, that's what i think. They live, as everyone, they're powerful, but not invincible or anything (my point of view of course).
What i saw till now is: having a "true" avatar is a symbiosis action (Dragon/Tarot), and i guess this means the supernatural being have to share it's essence with the avatar. Now imagine Pete having every single pet on his side, using his powers all at once. Puff, Pete's gone. That's the risk.

But who said the dragon is always right when she say something?
