Can a Global Mod really ban another Global Mod?
That would be like a paradox.

We can ban each other, but we can't. That is, Diss could technically ban be, but he'd get in hot water for it and Rick would restore my account and probably fire Diss.

The forums I've been on the admin almost never gets on.
So far it was true for every forum I visited!

I think it's really, really unlikely a moderator would need banning. Even if one of us did, it'd probably be Rick's job.

How did mods became mods? Did Rick chosed you and mods at the very first time when this forum created? Like chosen ones? I've been wondered about that for quite a while.

well, then be active enough to get nominated if a position opens up. All the forum mods are moderating sections they frequent.
for example, Pea and I are almost always here and in the forum games.
Copper reads most of the fan fictions and is active in the comic section.
44, House, and ctcmjh are all moderately active in the RP section.
so the users of those sections nominated then elected us to our respective positions.

I know you were active, I remember when I surpassed your post count.
still in the top ten despite a year of inactivity.

After Kyderra's and Dissension's promotion, there was an election for new forum moderators and a new global moderator. Dissension was promoted to a global moderator, I was promoted to a forum moderator for Not the Comic, and everyone else you see who's a forum moderator was promoted to their current position. Then Dylan stepped down (I miss him moderating, personally), and then Buckdida did (I miss him moderating too) and Rick promoted me to global to take his place. That's where we are now.
