 Re: Music.
For my money, I say that the Ramones would be the best punk band ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQb9sWuWFqUWhen I was 8 years old "Rock 'N' Roll High School" came on TV. Even though I did not know who the Ramones were at the time, I knew that I wanted to be them! But here is my favorite Casualties song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Qldezbn_wkand my favorite Misfits song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfxrlXdYe9sI don't care what anyone says, the Micheal Graves years were easily on par with the Glen Danzig years.

 Re: Music.
I love the Ramones too, they're just not a favorite, probably top ten Graves's stuff was really good but it was nothing compared to Danzig's run. I personally like both and think bashing on Graves is rather silly(I mean who could hate this ) but it doesn't mean Danzig wasn't about a million times better.

 Re: Music.
I agree. I like both of those eras. I actually had some record snob jump in front of me when I was wearing a misfits shirt and ask "Danzig or Graves! Huh?!" I gave him the choice of getting out of my way or carry a beating! In a bit of Punk rock cross pollination, Marky Ramone took over on drums after Jerry Only restructured the band again, on "The Day The Earth Caught On Fire" single http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oho-j_MeqRMand the ill-fated "Project 1950". I am going to "Mad Monster Party" in Charlotte and Marky is going to be there! Also the Ramones had a HUGE impact on the development of heavy metal. Lemmy from Motörhead credited the Romones's fast paced playing style for influencing theirs. He even payed tribute with the song "R.A.M.O.N.E.S" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IouixybLYVoAlso just for fun, here's Rammstein's cover of "Pet Sematary" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8IBjUSng5g

Guys that was a distraction For you to see the second link I actually hate punk. Dead Kennedys are hilarious, I don't really care if they're punk or not.

I love that Rammstein cover it's so bad but it sounds like they're having so much fun. I wish I could be cool like you and write off an entire Genre but I prefer to keep my musical horizons broad (which isn't to say I have no biases)

 Re: Music.
I've been listening to Hollywood Undead a lot lately. I heard a few of their songs before but I never really looked into them.
Funny that I like a group with undead in their name, considering my minor zombie obsession.

 Re: Music.
For all their antics and crudeness the Bloodhound Gang made some really good songs that they don't get enough credit for.

Way better than any song I've ever written comprised solely of quotes from the simpsons.
