When I sarcastically meant when I said "furry themed lyrics" was a song or two. I don't see how you could even write an entire album with lyrics that appeal to just furries.

If I knew musically talented furries and was able to start a furry based band, I wouldn't want to appeal to just furries. It would just be something to make the band unique.

The band could be satirical. Alternatively, they could be more subtle and just use a lot of animal imagery in their music. That'd be human-friendly.

Or how about not making a furry band? Hmm?
I've listened to "furry" music, it is essentially techno and electronic acid trip. There's really nothing that deviates furry music from regular music, besides the fact that the musicians are furry. Which would mean the furry band would just end up being normal band that wears animal skin. Even if you decide to create death metal, punk, rap music, it ends up being dudes who wear animal skin.

That's why I don't think the music deserves to be applied the label "furry." But the band can; sometimes there's more to a live performance than the music.

true. a lot of bands are all about the experience of actually being there. the Blue man group for example.

I don't quite see the thrill in seeing a bunch of people in costumes singing, but that's just me. I've never actually been to a live performance besides concert halls. :( My opinion is invalid.

A live performance is always great since there is the music and an atmosphere that make the experience great.

It's a podcast with topics pertaining to the furry fandom. It's a really entertaining podcast to listen to, and it's pretty clean, which, unfortunately, is hard to find when it comes to furry podcasts.

I would also like to welcome our new Dingo friend. Hi friend! :D

Hi new guy!

I think it'd be pretty amusing to start a band, make completely serious music without any hint of furriness , and peform it in fursuits anyway.
I think in Non-sequiturs

That's basically what a furry band would be, in my imagination. The the music might be somewhat playful and mention animals slightly more than most.

Yes, I myself am a furry, but I guess I don't really act like it unless the person I'm talking to is one. Since furries are somewhat hated on sight because of stereotypes most of the time, I don't exactly say I am.

I'm a lot like this as well. Some of my friends know I take intensest in cartoony anthropomorphic art, but they don't know I have a fursona.

Outside the interwebs nobody knows I'm a furry. If I was to ever tell a person I knew it would be after I found out they were a furry.

Wither or not something is creepy or not is all based on one's opinion. I don't find it creepy, heck, I even WANT a fursuit, but some people find even furries in general creepy, even if they don't know of the darker sides of it.

Fursuits are totally creepy. I much prefer guys who dress up like Sailor Moon.

I tend to find Fursuiters rather fun to see. (I have never seen one except on TV or computer.) It is just someone having fun, and I am quite sure they are all kind to others, so they may just try to act cute and be friendly. I see nothin bad with that personally, but I can see why people think they are creepy.
Who knows, my opinion might change once I meet one in person.

I was actually being 127% sarcastic with my last post. My uptacks have indeed gone missing. :[ I dun no were dey went

I actually quite like the idea of a fursuit; though only if it's very well done. It's like getting a tattoo, but on a much larger scale. If I'm going to dump 1500+ dollars into getting something like that, I want to be positive it's going to be something that's done well enough that I'll actually want to wear it more than once. :|

Don't get me wrong, I don't have anytihng against fursuiters, but cosplay in general has always been kind of strange to me.
If that's your thing by all means have fun with it, you'll just never catch me dead in one.

I think fur suits are cool, but I don't think I would like to have one(too expensive and hard to care for). I would rather have just the head, paws, and tail and have it match my fursona, and if I were to go to a fur meet or convention, I'd wear pants and a long sleeve shirt with them. That's all I'd need.

I think the main issue people have with fursuits is the face being locked into one unblinking expression. It doesn't bug me, but if it bugs other people I at least understand.

You could go the super expensive route and get one with the moving jaw and moving eyes.

I also heard that if you're at a convention in a fur suit that you just about need to have a buddy close by to keep people from messing with your suit while you have your back turned, or surprising you.(because it's so hard to see while your inside one)
