Something tells me Duchess is going to get scorned at the end of this, and King will have a powerful enemy.

Duchess just seems to be using him to win the contest I doubt there will be an attraction on either side. Though I could see King thinking of it that way and then explaining to her that he is taken. So he could end up with a powerful ally in the end.

King must love making Snow dogs... that's mostly all of what he does in Winter.

That would be a nice little thing to do. If it snows where you live, make a snow dog and snap a pic! Add a Housepets Scarf to earn the praise of your fellow forumites!

I got a nosebleed from Boris in the last panel, but in other news seeing King and his hobby of making snow dogs really makes me wish one of King's snow dogs will come alive, Hobbies and Calvin style.

Snow cat huh? Funnily enough, making one of those has never crossed my mind. Made a snow bunny, last year...and it was 'evil'. Tried and failed to make a snow dog...the snow here(When we get any at all) just doesn't hold together right to be able to make the correct ear shape.

That said, it's great to see King again, and rather amusing to see Duchess pop back out of the woodwork. Now all we need is for Bailey to show up and Sasha to arbitrarily decide she wants to date King for a little bit so we can see a three way war for the poor corgi.

Mind you I'm kidding about the Sasha part, but I'd be endlessly amused if Bailey did in fact show up.

Be GLaD she didn't go for Peanut...not very likely...but possible. I just love how King pops into yet another adorable-ish arc ^_^

But seriously, I rather believe that Rick can ill afford to do that. Or perhaps even wants to. He's already being very generous in three updates a week (Something I wish I could appreciate and be grateful for more often ).

Although i wish we got more Res I'm looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. I bet you in one of the strips King and Duchess will duke it out in a battle of complaints, an epic war of which gender is lower in the pecking order, and in the end King will walk away unwilling to keep going then duchess will be like "Huh...suddenly i feel compelled to express undignified girlish glee...."
