What? I just think it's kind of unfair that women are allowed to get "boy" cuts, wear jeans and a t-shirt, and still be considered normal (or even attractive if they pull it off well), but when a guy decides he wants to break out a dress or a skirt he gets dirty looks like he's doing something wrong with his life. :/
It's just kind of a pet-peeve of mine. I mean, let people wear whatever they feel most comfortable in, right?

It's true
I often find good artists wedged between couch cushions or underneath the kitchen sink

Though I will say that pop music has gotten significantly worse in the last couple decades.
I prefer '60s/'70s pop to the last couple decadesworth of pop. I just think it's usually more fun and I don't like the general '90s sound as a rule in general for the most part generally.

hey, if they want to wear a skirt, get a kilt.
but in my opinion at least, Jeans and a T-shirt are practical, and females didn't use to wear them because they didn't work. meanwhile, dresses and skirts have a tendency to sometimes get in the way and don't have an obvious purpose other than looking pretty, so it is an odd choice whereas Jeans and a T-shirt make sense for any gender.
in other words, why do girls wear dresses?
and high heels are much worse because they actually damage the feet.
Well, it's not always about what's practical; it's about what's most comfortable or what a particular person enjoys wearing. Some girls pull off a dress quite nicely, while others actually look quite bad in them. But no one thinks of a girl as doing something unnatural if they wear a dress (no matter how unflattering it is on the girl in question). The same isn't true of men. People don't just say, "Wow, that guy doesn't look good in a dress." They say, "Can you believe that guy is wearing a dress?"
People who are otherwise perfectly nice individuals become a stereotypical high school "popular girl", scoffing at the very idea of a man wearing a "girl's" outfit. It's crazy how fast the shift is. My mom actually did this very thing last week when I was getting my hair cut. We were in a styling saloon, waiting for the stylist who was going to take me to finish with her last client, and apparently a man was walking around, browsing some of the hair supplies in another part of the store, and she leaned over to me and whispered, "Did you realize there's a man walking around here wearing women's clothes? Now that's just scary." And I had to just shrug it off because I honestly hadn't noticed, and obviously don't particularly care. I don't think I've ever heard my mom talk that way about anyone before, and it really took me off guard because she's always so nice to everyone.
Another example: a friend of mine from college. Last semester, he attended a special event based around the movie Rocky Horror Picture Show, and he decided he wanted to cross-dress for it. So he got dressed up in full drag. Black dress, small heels, black stockings or leggings, the whole nine-yards. And quite honestly, he wears a dress far better than probably half the girls I know (and that's not at all an insult to the girls I know). He already wears the whole "goth" type attire on a pretty regular basis, so he's pretty familiar with eyeliner, mascara, nail polish, and the like, but he is in fact perfectly straight. Yet, there are plenty of people (like my mom) who would look down on him as a person (not that he cares, but still) simply because he likes to wear a dress every now and again. And that's a problem.

I can't wait to go with my friend Abby next time there's a showing on campus
she used to get really into it when she went to purdue so it should be a blast.

Wikipedia says "The show will appear again on Cartoon Network's sister channel Boomerang on May 2012, replacing Ben 10's 5:30 slot." Even then, it's unreferenced, does not include whether that's "AM" or "PM", and would imply it's just reruns and not a new season anyway (after all, it only says "appear again" and does not specify a new season, plus since when has Boomerang ever aired anything new)!
If there were really a new season coming out it would likely be, you know, announced somewhere. Which it isn't as far as I know. The only thing that exists that I can see regarding it is that 'leaked' trailer which exclusively uses clips form the prior two seasons anyway.
It's not impossible, I just find taking everything into account it seems really unlikely to be anything but a fake. Unfortunate!
Guys guys guys!!! (oh, and girls).
I've archived all of housepets and posted a link in 'the comic' area.
Check it out if you want!

part of me hopes that when they said leaked, they meant leaked, and that an announcement is actually yet to be made

I really should watch Boomerang more. Then I remembered I didn't watch TV.
So I really don't like the video game industry's practice of reverting sequel names, such as SONIC THE HEDGEHOG and SSX (which I just saw an ad for here). Why can't we give games unique titles?

This was pretty much my first reaction. I was waiting to see if they actually showed some new footage, and when they didn't I pretty much figured there wasn't much chance it was legit.
I'd love to see some of the older CN cartoons brought back for another run (with new episodes, of course), but it's not at all likely, and it always falls under the same problem most movie sequels with more than a few years in between them do. That being that oftentimes actors who played the parts of certain characters, whose voices are ingrained in everyone's mind, just can't or won't come back for the show, and then fans get run a marathon off that certain characters just don't sound right. And that can be crippling.
I also saw in the comments someone mentioning that Code Lyoko might be making a comeback; and that would thrill me to no end because it actually got cut off half way through a season, which left me (and everyone else who watched it) wondering how the heck the story finished. :[ I realize that's just as unlikely to happen as a Courage reboot, but I still like to imagine there's a chance it'll happen.

that's a different situation. that show was originally French, and they have already started production of the 5th season (I don't know how many seasons were actually shown in the U.S.)
the question is whether or not it will be aired here again.
as for the voice actors thing, my understanding is that voice actors often take as much work as they can get while maintaining quality. The situation you mentioned only applies when an actor either retired, got too old for their original part (which is usually solved by having children of either gender voiced by female adults), or if the actor has died. Most voice actors have fairly long careers.

I have no idea what you mean but I'm sure it's probably silly.

Well really that's your fault for putting any faith in a short video clip anyone could have thrown together.

I think he means when video game sequels steal the original's title. Like, if I made a game called Pea's Coolio Rad Game, then followed it with PCRG2, PCRG3, and PCRG4, but then the fifth installment was just called Pea's Coolio Rad Game. It's confusing because now there's two games called Pea's Coolio Rad Game, but one is a sequel to the other.
It's especially silly because people will just come up with a new name for it anyways.
