Quartz curved back to a bush, a small distance from Mitch. He assembled a dart-like item. He covered it in the incense. Aiming meticulously, he threw the dart into Mitch, and bolted.

Iblis gave a soft grunt. "Slow down and speak straight, will ya?" He said, raising his voice as he looked to the Raccoon-like animal. "Some of us would like a nice pla-" He got out before movement in the bushes caught his eyes. "Hold that thought." He said before he pushed his way through the crowd, dropping his bag to chase whatever was in the bushes.

Eris noticed Quartz throwing the dart into Mitch, and her eyes narrowed when she found out it was a dart. Her eyes narrowed angrily and she dashed off as fast as she could after Quartz. As a pet who's favorite hobbies were running and pyrotechnics, she could easily catch up to Quartz. She lit firecrackers and threw them after Quartz as she chased him, hardly a few feet from her, "Stop running and face me!" She commanded, before throwing firecracker at his head. If it blew up on his head, the worst it could do is leave a small welt, and make his ears ring like crazy, but no serious damage.

Lances eyes began to droop even more as Eris and Iblis started chasing something from the bushes. "W-what is g-going on here?" he asked as he began to fall asleep. He slumped against the cabin wall and nodded off snoring lightly and his head dropping forward.

Quartz cringed. He felt the firecracker. Kathy woke up gasping.
She ran in the opposite direction, while Quartz jumped into the trees throwing incense darts everywhere. His intentions weren't bad, but neutral. No one understood him but Katherine. He thought this about everyone he had met. This is the result.

"What gas?" Will asked and then went to the cabin door and opened it just enough to pop his head in and take a breath. Then he pulled out his head and closed the door. The nebelung was dizzy and sat on the ground.
"Some sort of sleeping gas, luckily not made by a professional." he began to take slow, deep breaths "I think I can fix this...after I clear my lungs and mind..." he said between the breaths.

Oliver had just finished carrying the last stack of boxes into his new house on the corner. "I wonder what I should do now, it's late, and nobody seems to be around... I think I'll go in and have some sweet tea." he thought to himself as his shirt ruffled in the breeze and his tail flicked to and fro.

Eris hissed at Quartz as he jumped into the trees and away. He was gone for now, so that made her feel a little better. She ran back to the others, "Is Mitch okay?" She asked, as she approached. She saw Will kneeling on the ground, taking deep, shallow breaths. She walked over to him and placed a paw on his shoulder, "Hey, Will, are you alright?" She asked.

Iblis ran after the one who wasn't throwing anything, ignoring the one who'd leaped into the trees. A quiet chase, still drooping his left arm as if it's immobile. :What are these two up too? Whatever was thrown at that shrimp looked dangerous.: He thought as he swerved around trees.

Nate and Archy were both up in the trees. They saw someone run off through the trees. They were largely oblivious to what had gone on. After looking around, they saw things were clear and dropped down to walk over to the group. "So... What just happened?" Nate asked, "we were working on the cameras and... then we saw stuff down here and that guy ran off..."

"We left the cameras pointed in the direction they ran, if we need it," Archimedes asked, "or at least, I think two of them."

Quartz leaped down to the ground, and threw 3 darts at Iblis. Katherine ran out in open with the dart Quartz gave her. She stabbed it into Eris.

Jessica had just finished a slight nap after helping unpack, and was now finishing up a quick text to her long distance friend.
"Mom, I'm gonna go out to see if I can make some new friends."
"Just don't be out too late."
"Okay, mom. I'll call you if I get held up."
she exited her new house and began wandering the streets, hoping to find another pet out this late.

Eris screamed a bit as Katherine stabbed her. Eris looked at the blood that came from the stab, and her pupils dilated. She quickly turned and kicked Katherine in the face as hard as she possibly could, and lept at her, trying to hold her down.

Katherine fell unconcious. Quartz went into overdrive, while yelling,KATHERINE! He screamed and ran toward Katherine. He ignored Eris for a moment, kneeling next to Kathy.
His eyes locked on Eris. He got up, and dragged Kathy with him onto a tree, looking for any fractures.

Mitch had had enough. Unfortunately for the newcomers, they had aimed a bit too high. But after he turned around and saw Eris injured, that did it.

"OH YOU ARE SO DEAD!!!" Mitch yelled, instantly he tooke out his root knife and threw it at Quarts left knee. Then he took out his own three bolts.

"YOU LIKE TO PLAY WITH SLEEP INDUCERS? PLAY WITH THESE!!!" He hollared, tossing three 2-hour bolts at Katherine.

"SOMEBODY GET MY CROSSBOW FROM MY BAG AND THIS'LL BE OVER QUICKER THEN A BREAKFAST!!!" He said to anybody.

Ian held up an empty box, This was the last one

Ian walked outside and started to walk. He didn't really expect to find anyone out this late but he could at least take a look around.

Quartz's eyes widened. He moved himself and Katherine into the forest. The knife hit though, and made him stagger. He took it out and threw it back faster.

Mitch ducked as the knife curved away.

"YOU'VE GOT A LOT OF NERVE PICKING A FIGHT WITH A FERAL! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!!!" And he let it trail off. Then he went to check on Eris.

"Grrr, those, idiots, are you okay???" He asked her.

Then he felt a pain in his upper shoulder.

Owwwww....

Quartz hugged Katherine. He turned to Mitch. Just how feral? HMM?? he yelled angrily.

"Yeah, I'm okay, I'm okay. It just really hurts. A lot. She jammed the dart in kinda deep." She said, rubbing her shoulder, where she was stabbed, "Are you okay?"

Quartz winced. He couldn't bear the thought of losing Katherine. But, it was his fault. He started the sob a bit. He ran from the unconcious Kathy, forgetting her.

And just then, a snarling shadow was on him. "Hello. I don't think we introduced properly!" Belisarius said, then giving Quartz a good slug! "And *I* am more feral than you!"

"Ngh, that idiot got my shoulder," Mitch said, "If I had my crossbow, those idiots would've been downed in two shots max. I'll bet -*"



"HOW FAR CAN YOU RUN? NOT VERY WITH THAT KNEE! JUST YOU-*..." Mitch yelled back, then he noticed Belisarius's hand work.

"Nice one!" Mitch yelled.

Eris ran up to Katherine and checked her pulse and everything, finding that she was simply knocked out, "Can someone help me get her inside the cabin? She needs to rest, I did a real number on her head."

That question wasn't mean't for you.he said suprisingly calmly. He scraped some moss off a tree, and covered his knife-wound. I've had enough. I need time for something else. he said still calm, and kneeled back next to Katherine, trying to desprately wake her up.

"Yup! Val surely knows how to pick them. Now let me attend your wound, luckily I brought my first aid kit. Eris, you too come here. You don't want that to infect."

Valiant recovered Kathrine. "I'll check her. Her fracture doesn't look good."

Eris nodded, "Alright, I'm coming." She said as she walked over to Rikki and showed her the stab wound. It was from a dart, so it was really thin, but Eris was still bleeding a bit. And she hit Eris hard enough with the dart that it was going to leave a nasty bruise.

Quartz walked over to a nearby clearing, sitting down,bring his head to his knees, he just sat there. He thought, “There goes anyone I'd ever befriend.” he just sat there sobbing slightly.

"Could have been worse," Rikki applied a couple of plasters after cleaning the wound. She repeated the treatment for Mitch.
Belisariys grabbed the dog and carried him toward the cabins. "You'll weep later. For now, you are prisoner."

"Yeah, it could have." Eris repeated, "This might have been a bit too much chaos, even for me."

"Thanks Rikki," Mitch said, "Don't go in there just yet, somebody's got to do something about the gas thing those idiots threw in there."

That dart just destroyed me. He said with a monotone. That wasn't me back there, was it? I didn't mean...that wasn't.. The incense was for fun, but it wasn't mean't to be like THIS!!!! He was so confused.

Eris thought for a moment, "If only I brought my gas mask with me..." She said, "We go in there, one at a time to open up all the windows in there. After that, it's just a matter of time."

"*Now* I heard it all: too much chaos for Eris!" Rikki chuckled. Then, to Mitch, "We owe you big time, Mitch. I knew you were the bravest of warriors."

"You'll clear that with the authorities" the wolf said, not letting go

Quartz had nothing to do anyway.
Meh. he said.

"Don't forget Belisarius! He was really brave too!" Eris smiled, "But Mitch, you were awesome!"

Thank you? Oh, and sorry. he said.

Mitch blushed.

"Eh it was, nothing, but, yeah, Bel definitely takes the cake for finishing the chaos," Mitch said, then he heard Eris's suggestion.

"No no, we gotta take care of the source first," Mitch said, then he opened the door and held his nose as he went inside. He found the culprit straight away, stamped it out, then noticed the open window.

Idiots. He thought. He opened the window next to it, and hopped out. Then he went back.

"There, now we just got to wait, cough," he said, catching a whiff of the fumes but not being affected that much.

"Just for fun?" He questioined, snarling at Quartz.

"You, you, rrr, forget it, we'll handle it later," Mitch said.

Valiant checked kathrine's conditions. "I'm not a physician, but it doesn't look worse than a mild concussion. She should be attended to at a hospital," he said to Lance's owner. "And we should give that other dog your colleagues as well."

"Magara!" Will said as he finally managed to get a hold of himself"How long was I out and what happened here? he asked confused"
