I am doing my part, we need dedicated voters :0, (I could use the school computers for extra votes *cough*) I kid though.

Re: TWC Updates
The rankings are zooming up and down right now because it's the first day of the month and the count has been reset, and every comic on the list is separated by a margin of only a few votes. Housepets is #25 right now, but it only has 28 votes.
Re: TWC Updates
It's at 20 right now. Everyone who hasn't voted, vote! C'mon! You know you want to! Let's see if we can beat Slightly Damned!

Re: TWC Updates
Maybe if we get a banner it will be more enticing to vote? Or are the top couple only allowed to have banners because well, only the top couple do...
Re: TWC Updates
There's a banner. It's the 4th panel of the first comic of The Visitor arc.
Also, i still think the quote needs improvement. Giving a detailed description of the comic with a wittiness included in it would work wonders. maybe even subject it to the old crazy modernday comics or television somehow.

In Soviet Russia, Housepets Reads you!
... *Gets axed*
Yeah, but that's an example of something witty i think. the idea of housepets doing something normal shouldn't be detailed since it's pretty much a everyday comic thing. but what makes the quote so awesome is that a comic called Housepets... about Housepets... deserves a quote that makes it stand out since it's so obvious it can be made funny.
I don't know how better to describe it than that, but i really wish i had that magic word where A Comic that's pretty much borderlines what it says on the tin deserves a quote that supports this fact. XD

Re: TWC Updates
You can only see the top ten on the main page, but when you actually go to vote for the comic it shows up.
Re: TWC Updates
For the time being, i came up with a more serious quote but added humor in the end:
HousePet or Housepets was not there
Another one i was thinking was just flat out humor and let the viewers catch on:"Amusing you three times a week, Housepets! is set in Babylon Garden ~ your regular everyday housepets are now sentinent and now do what they do best: chasing tail and squeaking bones!"
And finally, just for my own amusement for reading a Canadian Dictionary:"I know if I wrote a comic, i certainly wouldn't let my pets run rampant and watch television all day... oh,wait."
Amusing story about the last one there: I bought a Dictionary the other day while thinking up a future book i wanna write and suddenly, i had to do it. I looked up Housepets on it. Instead, the Dictionary uses the subword "House" and puts all known words associated with House next to it such as "Housecall" or "Housewife" or "Housephone"."I'm sorry if the Canadian Dictionary didn't have Housepets! as a Definition. Otherwise, my comment would tell you."

Psst! Five days of voting left in May, and we're only 20 away from the next rank! If you haven't voted today, you totally should. We should at least finish in the thirties guise!

I like how they do verification, simple one button presses. None of that type in this words that behind 50 swirling black and white curly thingamabobers.
