Oh, its not that. I like being adult (though it still feels strange when people refer to me as "man" and not "kid"). Its what Seth said, the idea of getting older. Rather scary thought.

@ Cm4F - Have you ever tried using a sunbed? (That's what its called in Britain but I don't know whether it goes by another name where you live. Anyway...). My brother has a problem with reoccuring acne and he used to go to a clinic with sunbeds in them, the heat opens up your pours to allow the oils and stuff to flow out naturally.

Joy: Getting some things I bought myself in the mail. ^^ New high quality headphones, some parts to fix my iphone and ram to upgrade my server. Also selling my other other laptop to get a nook color, tomorrow. Yay.
A bit of sorrow: Feel a bit weird sometimes. Two nights ago I had some panic attacks over some weird abstract concepts. The ideas sometimes flood my mind and make me terribly scared. o_e Its weird but irrational. Things like death and dying. ._.

Joy: My surgery was today, and it went fantastic!

Sorrow: They have me a nerve block to prevent some pain in my shoulder. It didn't work.

Sorrow: It went into my face and neck instead, and now I can't feel it. At all. Oh, and my left eye is drooping a bit from it. Totally numbed the nerve. (Hehe, it's kinda funny, to be honest.)

Sorrow: I woke up in tremendous pain.

Sorrow: The pain meds they gave me through the i.v...they don't work on me. And they gave me the maximum dosage of it, so they couldn't legally give me anything else for it.

Sorrow: I was feeling the full pain of the surgery.

Joy: They gave me some oral painkillers, and now I'm well enough to type. (You'd have never guessed it if I hadn't said it. :P)

Joy: I had lots of prayers and people thinking about me, and it made me feel so much better going into the surgery.

Sorrow: I CAN'T FEEL MY FACE. OR NECK. XD

Same thing happens to me.

Joy:My roommate and I took out trash/recycling/vacuumed for the first time this semester, the room doesn't look like a dump anymore.
(I don't really care but I suspect his Girlfriend started complaining.)
sorrow:I don't know what's wrong with the vacuumed but it made the whole room smell like burning popcorn.

We don't actually own a vacuum we borrowed the janky monstrosity of a vacuum at the front desk.
Regardless we probably won't vacuum more than one or two more times the rest of this year (We only vacuumed twice last semester once before we left for winter break and once when my roommate's girlfriend visited)
so it doesn't really matter.

SORROW: I had to wake up early this morning because I had a doctors appointment, and a dentist appointment right after that. I went in to the doctors just to have a check up, and I ended up having to take a booster shot. (which didn't hurt, although it wasn't pleasant) When I went to the dentist, I found out that I'm going to have to have surgery to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. :(

Both:

(The Joy) So I just got a new iPhone case called "The Survivor."
(The Sorrow) I HAD an Otter Box for until its untimely death.

I was babysitting and I gave the iPhone to one of the kids, because he wanted to play Angry Birds, which wasn't a problem, he's really careful. I took the case off, because he didn't like it, and I set it on the sofa next to him. It fell off and I stepped on it. The blue cover cracked and..... it's broken. I needed to get something soon before the iPhone itself is broken, and I didn't want to spend $50 online and wait a week, so I went to Target and spent $40 on "The Survivor" and got it instantly. Apparently it meets Military Expectations so.... I guess that's a good thing.

(More Joy) I Looked online to see how good it was, just for the heck of it, and it cost like $60 (shipping included) online. I think I got a pretty good deal.
