remember, the Zoo supports the cheating. It's out of their hands, so leaving this loophole is the best they can do.

That is just... (I need a word for awful besides awful)[/quote] turrible? though I don't see how it's a bad thing, at least in the Housepets universe it would just seem unneccesary and demeaning.

After much debate, i would like a question answered: Which is more cunning: The Snake? Or Miles?

Ah, but Miles is far more experienced with handling wildlife.
I was vaguely disturbed and amused at the same time that the snake seems to be poisonous (nasty big pointy teefs!) yet was satisfied with simply stuffing Peanut in the terrarium.

Gotta agree with Xane. Besides, it really doesn't take -much- to outwit Peanut. :p

Yay! More wolves. Also why didn't they call ahead of time then there would have been no problems and the owner would have known they were coming.

That one wolf looks awfully kistune- like.... I like the pack so far! So many new characters appearing at once! The cubs are learning such useful skills. In Danger? Act like you have rabies!!

pretending you have rabies is a very good skill to have. Need an extension on your deadline? need to get out of a speeding ticket? Mcdonalds got your order wrong? feign rabies works every time

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
Ah, so Snow is an albino. I thought maybe she was just an arctic or tundra wolf with red eyes. I've always been kind of weirded out by Kevin's eyes being red, since it makes him look more like some kind of demon dog than a normal one (maybe he's Kitsune's avatar... kidding, sheesh). That's really cute that Lucretia brought her mom to the zoo. We still have five more pack members yet to be named! (eight minus the three nameless cubs). I think the spread of comics like Sluggy Freelance and TV shows like Lost, where a background character or piece of paper is somehow responsible for shattering the multiverse later on, has conditioned people to look too deeply into things because half the time it's actually true and the author(s) lie(s) about it being insignificant. But it was clear from the start that Tarot was weird and that Pete had ulterior motives for Joel/King. Of course that doesn't mean that down the line Rick won't reveal Lester is actually a shapeshifted Mr. Milton (Is Wordpress/Gravatar in the comic comments set to disallow PG icons? I set my "King full of orange soda" icon to PG and it comes up blank).

but that makes no sense. it's a PG comic, it should allow PG icons.

I wouldn't really call that icon PG. You should've set it to G.

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
I was being cautious. I'm pretty sure "public drunkenness" warrants a PG rating for a movie though I didn't find any specifics (and the MPAA tends to be bizarre in how it rates things anyway). I kind of figure any icon from Housepets! is fine to use as an avatar here but maybe not on another website where the owner might have had family with alcoholism problems, etc. I'll keep it for the forum but I'll change the Gravatar as soon as I figure out what I want to use next.

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
The icon rating is set to G because Gravatar doesn't have a PG-13 rating, it was folded into PG

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
The cutest thing about Poncho I find is he got that look in his eyes that makes you think he has no idea what that wolf is and is probably thinking of food instead of girls <3 With that said, i'm actually very happy the wolf family has a full detailed character list for them. I was actually expecting something like the Bigglesworth cats kind of scenario. can't wait to get to know more about them in the future. Also: I'm guessing that wolf in the back is blind

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
Hee. I don't expect a lot of backstory on the wolves, at least not this time around, since this is more about their adventure at the zoo (I hope they didn't get into too much trouble, they seem like such a nice pack...) but maybe Miles can tell Peanut and the cubs stories about the pack as short one-offs or two-offs once in awhile.
