Hey you forgot the arc number in the title. Also I wonder if this is actually going to be a King arc again or an Arc about the Zoo at Christmas with this as a set up strip.

King is buying a cell phone. I wonder who he is going to call?

He is going to call Skylord. *giggles*
This should be promising. I literally laughed out loud at the alt text.

Re: A Holiday at the Zoo
Sweet. I been anxious to see the Zoo animals again, honestly, but on Christmas was totally unexpected.
Now i'm just curious if it's just going to be King and the Wolf Pack? Not expecting any of the major cast, but i got the feeling for some reason someone will show up like Tiger/Marvin/Zach, Maxwell/Bino or Fiddler/Keys

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
Wow, another one. Although it COULD easily be a flashback arc.
This also makes me think that after this, we won't be seeing King for a long while. Having said that, I REALLY hope there is some major resolution in this arc of some kind, seeing as this is right around the completion of his second year as a dog.

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
People seem to keep wondering why Miles and his family going to the zoo would be a bad thing, yet have apparently forgotten there are already wolves at the zoo who have to be there whether they want to be or not.

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
For a moment, I was wondering why King was reacting the way he did.
Then I realized it was animals going to the zoo to spectate animals.
Then I started laughing, 'cause irony.

Ohhhh yeeeeeaaah. I'd totally forgotten that the zoo in the comic has a wolf exhibit. The strip just got about 20% funnier.

I always just assumed animals went there 'cause they weren't liking the wild, or they were rescued from near-death and given a "job."

I wonder how the wolves at the zoo treated the Milton wolves.
Heh, I can't WAIT to see how this plays out.
(P.S. you guys think the dolphins might become involved somehow in this arc?)

I predict a lot of screaming coming up also Security Guards. Also Miles family is huge, are they all living at that house together or did some come from the woods just for this trip or what?

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
I didn't expand too much on this in the comic but I might at some point in the future: Miles and his immediate family live in the house all the time, and Daryl does most of the time; the rest of the family sorta goes in and out for visitations. It's just going to be hard to draw ALL of them at once.IceKitsune wrote:I predict a lot of screaming coming up also Security Guards. Edit: Also quick question I've always wondered: do you have a story bible for Housepets?

Yay! Clarification! Sweet, Sweet, Clarification!
Nice comic. Miles brought leashes. Smart. I wonder how many zoo animals almost got eaten?

I can only picture this as going well and without any problems of any kind whatsoever.

Weird. I always thought Mile's family were: himself, Lucretia, Daryl and 4 cubs. Did he went to the woods to pick the others?

Re: Arc 49: A Holiday at the Zoo
Wolf packs can consist of any number of members (20 - 30 member packs have been reported in the wild in reality) and 15 would not be strange, though I would have expected more cubs. Though, this being a universe where animals are sentient, they probably have some form of birth control or choose to limit themselves to avoid the issues real wolves have of feast or famine.angelusbr wrote:Weird. To what, animals aren't allowed to be there at all without owners and leashes?
Rick, I see you've been getting practice with humans lately, well done.
Something's amiss. I've never known a Christmas arc to not include Christmas itself in comic time. Looks like this won't be ENTIRELY flashback if so.

It's out of their hands, so leaving this loophole is the best they can do.
