Yay! Early birthday gift!

Post by The Grey Wolverine »

So today I was with my parents and we went to, oddly enough a sporting goods store, looking for a Savage Axis .223 bolt action rifle. Thanks to a nice sale I picked it up for $330 instead of $400 so YAY! Best part is the fact I go some boxes of .223s for $7 each. Today was a nice day, I'll put up pictures soon maybe.

A gun?

Fascinating. You like hunting or something?

I'm on a rifle team actually, I'm getting well known around my club oddly enough.

Oh, well that's good.

What do you do in a rifle team?

Guns are outlawed here, so we have very few chances to use them, therefore it leads to most of the poplace having little knowledge about them.

Well we go to other clubs around Massachusetts as a team with our equipment, rules vary as to the positions, distances, and equipment depending on the match. The ones I really like going to is the 200 yard offhand matches, were standing out in a field with targets at 200 yards away. Its actually really hard because we need to account for weather, the ground, and some other things I really don't feel like explaining.

Ah, that's quite a distance away.

Well I look forward to seeing your pictures if you decide to post them.
