You make Rebecca Black's singing sound more pleasant, and you make getting into a fist fight with Mike Tyson sound better by comparison

I laugh everytime I see this advertisment on the forums:

[ Image Removed ]

I don't even understand why that would sell internet domains.

Mod Edit: Keep the forum rules and rating in mind when posting screenshots, especially of inappropriate ads.

If I was advertising something through banner ads, I would just use an animated gif of me flailing around with giant, obnoxious blinking letters saying "GIVE ME MONEY" because you know people would be curious as to what it was for.

Actually, that would be even more effective on TV. With all the ways TV ads try and fail to get your attention, it would actually work if you just played that animation and text, then screamed over top of it so that people will notice it if they're not looking. Then just put the name of your website at the bottom.

I would be such a great advertising director.

I have an odd relationship with anime. It's pretty nifty and I enjoy quality anime art, but it's impossible for me to care enough to watch it and I've got a thing against the general art style and the less sufferable parts of the fandom.

I really just don't get anything out of the story
it seems really shallow and formulaic(yes I know this could be said about pretty much everything I enjoy just as easily, I just find the tropes in Anime rather insufferable)
and yes parts of the fandom for anime are just

Edit:

Also that advertisment was hardly offensive. Otherwise we'd have to ban women wearing tight tank tops irl.
