Bailey is really Fox's Daughter, no one knows it yet. When King finds out, he will want to be with Bailey so that Fox will become the father he always needed and will stay a dog, raising a family on the farm and inadvertently win the game by living a happy life.

The watch transforms into a corgi named Joel when soaked by lake water. The corgi upon being transformed thinks Bailey is his mom when rescued from the water. King is unwilling to admit what just happened.

I think he is likely to consider it but will ultimately go back to being human.

People also seem to forget that there is quite a big distance between Babylon Gardens and Kentucky. Long distance relationships can be a big hassle.

Just because Fox and Bailey are "cousins" doesn't mean they're blood-related. They could be called that just because they are the pets of relatives.

Fox does need to find a nice girl though. It seems rather hard to find intelligent female dogs in this universe.

If you think that them seeing each other as cousins will change anything, think of this: Peanut and Grape call the same people mom and dad, yet Peanut still had (or has, I'm not sure) a crush on Grape.

I'm aware of this. It's why I prefer Max and Grape.

It does help that they have never called each other brother and sister. They've used the word friend plenty of time. It leaves more wiggle room.

Again Fox most likely suspects that Joel was Kings old owner from before Pete or something along that line. Fox is smart, he would be able to come to that conclusion as its very logical, but thinking King is Joel based off that is a little out there, since we don't know if he even knows about Magic or that it can even do things like that even if he does.

Regarding King and Fox, there's no way in hell that Fox knows that King is Joel.

Also regarding King's feelings toward Bailey, Fox seems to be teasing King about it in the last panel of the lastest comic, so he probably approves.
